Duaa 1 – When Waking Up Arabic

أ يلٱ ) دملٱ

أ ام دـعب انايـحروشـلٱ هل7 انـتام

Translation

“All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.”

Duaa 2 – Before Entering the Toilet and After Before Entering the Toilet Arabic

$إ مهللٱ ))ٱ ?(أ

ثئابلٱو ثبلٱ نم كب ذوع

Translation

“In the name of Allah. O Allah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers.”

After Leaving the Toilet Arabic

كنارـفغ

Translation

“I ask You (Allah) for forgiveness.”

Duaa 3 – Morning Remembrance Arabic

أ

أو انحبص

أس،هدعب ام يخو مولٱ اذه ف ام يخ كل

أ بر،بكلٱ ءوسو لسكلٱ نم كب ذوع

أ بربـقلٱ ف باذعو رالٱ في باذع نم كب ذوع

Translation

“We have reached the evening and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what follows it and I take refuge in You from the

evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I take refuge in You from laziness and senility. My Lord, I take refuge in You from torment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.”

Duaa 4 – When wearing a new garment

Arabic

أ دملٱ كل مهللٱأ هينتوسك تن

أس ام يخو هيخ نم كل

أو ، ل عنصل عنص ام شو هش نم كب ذوع

Translation

“O Allah, for You is all praise, You have clothed me with it, I ask You for the good of it and the good for which it was made, and I seek refuge with You from the evil of

it and the evil for which it was made.’”

Duaa 5 – When Leaving the Home Arabic

)ٱب Uإ ة وق Uو لوح Uو )ٱ \ تلـكوت ،)ٱ ? Translation

“In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.”

Duaa 6 – Supplication at the start of the Prayer (After Takbeer) Arabic

�اـعتو كـمسٱ كرابتو كدـمحبو مـهللٱ كناحـبسكيغ لإ Uو كدـج

Translation

“How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You. Blessed be Your name, and lofty is Your position and none has

the right to be worshipped except You.”

Duaa 7 – When prostrating due to recitation of the Quran

Arabic

هـقلخ يذـلل يـهجو دـجس هتوـقو هـلوـب هرـصبو هـعـمس قشو أ )ٱ كراـبتف﴿

﴾يقلالٱ نـسح

Translation

“My face fell prostrate before He who created it and brought forth its faculties of hearing and seeing by His

might and power. ‘So Blessed is Allah, the best of creators.’”

Duaa 8 – Anxiety and Sorrow Arabic

$إ مـهللٱأ

،نزـلٱ و مـهلٱ نم كب ذوع

،بـلٱو لـخلٱو لسكلٱو زـجعلٱو لاجرلٱ ةـبلغو نيدـلٱ عـلضو

Translation

“O Allah, I seek refuge in you from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and

from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men (i.e. others).”

Duaa 9 – One whose affairs have become Difficult Arabic

Translation

“O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow.”

Duaa 10 – When Visiting the Sick

Arabic

)ٱ ءاـش نإ روـهط س Translation

“Do not worry, it will be a purification (for you), Allah willing.”

Duaa 11 – Supplication said upon seeing someone in trial or tribulation

Arabic

،هب ك�ـتبٱ امم $افع يلٱ ) دـملٱ �يـضفت قـلخ نمم رـيثك \ نيـل1ضفو

Translation

“All praise is for Allah Who saved me from that which He tested you with and Who most certainly favoured me over much of His creation.”

Duaa 12 – Condolence Arabic

Translation

“Surely, Allah takes what is His, and what He gives is His, and to all things He has appointed a time... so have

patience and be rewarded.”

Duaa 13 – When it Rains

Arabic

اعـفان ابـيص مهللٱ Translation

“O Allah, may it be a beneficial rain cloud.”

Duaa 14 – Upon Breaking Fast Arabic

أـمظلٱ بـهذ،قورـعلٱ تـلتبٱو ،

لٱ تـبثو)ٱ ءاـش نإ رـج

Translation

“The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.”

Duaa 15 – Upon completing the meal someone has provided Arabic

أ يلٱ ) دـملٱ

اذـه يـنمعط ةوق Uو نيم لوح يـغ نم هيـنقزرو

Translation

“All praise is for Allah who fed me this and provided it for me without any might nor power from myself.”

Duaa 16 – Supplication said to one offering a drink or to one who intended to do that Arabic

أ مـهللٱأ نم معط

Translation

“O Allah, feed him who fed me, and provide with drink him who provided me with drink.”

Duaa 17 – Supplication said to one who pronounces his love for you, for Allah's sake

Translation

“May He, for whom you have loved me, love you.”

Translation

“How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You. I bear witness that None has the right to be worshipped

except You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.”

Translation

“O Allah, guide me with those whom You have guided, and strengthen me with those whom You have given strength. Take me to Your care with those whom You have taken to Your care. Bless me in what You have

given me. Protect me from the evil You have ordained. Surely, You command and are not commanded, and

none whom You have committed to Your care shall be humiliated [and none whom You have taken as an

enemy shall taste glory]. You are Blessed, Our Lord, and Exalted.”

Translation

“O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I

totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You. Verily there is no refuge nor safe haven from You except with

You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.”
