CVTLINEAR VAPORTITE

STEP 1Turn off power.

STEP 4Attach mounting brackets to surface (hardware provided by others). Apply adequate torque to secure brackets to mounting surface. Note: The fixture weight is less than 10 lbs; ensure mounting method is adequate to support.

STEP 5Engage mounting features located on top of the fixture into the installed mounting brackets. Snap into place to ensure a proper installation.

STEP 2Remove contents from package, including fixture and mounting hardware.

STEP 3For surface mount only. Skip to Step 6 for suspended mount.

Prepare fixture for installation by marking location for a total of (2) mounting holes spaced 337/8 +/- 3/4". The mounting brackets have (1) 1/4" wide slot for use when mounting.

WARNING: This product must be installed in compliance with the national electrical code and/or any local codes by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved. If you have any questions regarding the proper installation or local codes, consult a qualified electrician.

WARNING: Risk of fire, minimum of 90° supply conductor. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure correct branch circuit conductor.

WARNING: To avoid shock hazard, disconnect the power at the panel board (circuit breaker box) before beginning installation.

WARNING: Install the fixture in only an indoor environment and for the intended use.

WARNING: Injury to persons and damage to the fixture and/or mounting surface may result if the fixture is pulled from the surface. To reduce the likelihood of such injury or damage, mount only on a surface that is mechanically sound.

NOTE: Components shown in images are representative only and may vary based on the configuration ordered.

STEP 7Open latches, then remove and retain lens.

STEP 10Remove conduit nut. Apply thread sealant and connect 1/2" conduit (provided by others) to conduit hub. Route power supply wires from conduit into fixture conduit. Pull at least 20" of wire into fixture to ensure adequate connection length.

STEP 8Wear gloves to protect hands. Unlock gear tray by bending spring clips toward the center of the gear tray and lifting gear tray away from spring clips.

STEP 9Flip over gear tray then remove and retain screws securing junction box to gear tray exposing electrical connection area.

STEP 6For suspended mount only. Skip to Step 7 for surface mount.

Attach (2) mounting brackets to fixture body mounting features located on the top surface of the fixture housing. Install (1) V-shaped hanger to each mounting bracket. Attach chain or cable (provided by others) to V hanger. Adjust chain or cable length to set desired mounting height.

STEP 12Reattach junction box to gear tray using the fasteners removed in Step 9.

STEP 16Energize fixture and ensure proper operation.

STEP 13Reattach gear tray to fixture housing and engage spring clips to secure tray.

STEP 15Replace lens, align with housing gasket and close latches.

STEP 14Set lumen output to desired level using lumen selector switch on gear tray.

STEP 11If dimming leads are to be used (purple (+) and gray wire (-)), remove crimp connector, strip dimming leads and connect to control circuit. Otherwise proceed to Step 12.
