Title and name of the artist is written using the same font and size. This shows consistency and it emphasizes the title. There is a color scheme as well. This shows that they have also thought about the colors, positioning of the title and the artist’s name. It is placed on the top because when a customer flicks through CD's they can easily see this information. The image is digitally illustrated. This makes the it look more creative and eye-catching.

The trucks suggests that it is a rest stop.

Some elements of rock is shown through the tattoos on his arms and the graffiti. This is counter typical as this does not represent country music. This could confuse a customer who is looking to buy this as they don’t clearly know which genre of music this is.

Another convention is the album title

Name of the artist and the musician is shown here. This is a Convention.

This could be the artist or the actor. His facial expression suggests that he is upset. The telephone suggests that he is calling someone that he loves and cares about. This links to the title of the album.

The genre of this album is country. This is shown through elements of mise en scene. For e.g. the trucks and his clothing. This is the back cover. Here, you can see information about the

track list such as the titles of the songs, and how long the songs

are. These are conventions. The font is the same as that of the

front cover. This information is in bold as this is important and it

enables the customer to identify and read this information easily.

This shows some information about the people who were

involved in the production the music.

You can also see information about the record label of the

album such as the logo, PO box and website.

This is a barcode. The information in this barcode is

read using a barcode scanner in order to monitor sales and the

order further supplies if needed.

The back cover is very different to the front cover. It uses bright

colours such as green, blue and red which suggests hope. However the back cover uses dull colours. The dominant used in this cover is a

light shade of brown which suggests hopelessness. This image suggests

that the actor has left the telephone like that because they are fed up of

calling.

This is one of the inside covers of the album. Here, you can see some

information about the artist and the musician such as PO box, email

address and their website. The fonts and font sizes used on this side is

the same. All the information is also located in the center. The font size is

small. This indicates that this information is not very important.

Here you can see three trucks that are similar to the ones on the front cover. These are located at the bottom. The

colour used on this side is similar to the colours used on the back cover. This shows consistency and it also looks

visually appealing to a customer who is looking to buy this.

This side cover shows the names of the people who are involved in

producing the music and it also shows what they did to help with the

production. The picture of the trucks continues on

to this side cover and the color scheme is also the same. The colour looks faded and this gives it a worn out feeling and the picture of the

truck indicates farm which emphasizes the genre of this album
