How is a crown placed?

The placement procedure for a crown will depend on what kind of treatment is being performed. However, in most cases:!

✤ The tooth is prepared; meaning some tooth structure is removed.!

✤ Impressions are taken in order to create the crown; this can be done in one dental appointment with CEREC technology.!

✤ Lastly, the crown is cemented or bonded to the tooth.
