A Bus & Walking Tour Cermak Road
Named a'er Chicago’s only Czech mayor Anton Cermak, Cermak Road links Czechs from Pilsen to Cicero to Berwyn to Riverside. Our tour visits key sites that made Cermak Road so important to our community. We will travel by bus and foot to:
•Hawthorne Works Museum•Olympic Theatre•T.G. Masaryk School
ALendees will receive a booklet with photos and histories of Cer-‐mak Road sites. As we enjoy lunch at Klas Restaurant, Theodore Polashek from the Chicagoland Czech-‐American Community Cen-‐ter will update us about CCACC acPviPes, and Alberta Adamson from the Center for History in Wheaton will discuss the Eastland Disaster.
Tour Details
Price: $40 for CSAGSI Members, $50 for non-‐Members
The price includes transportaPon, sites fees, breakfast, and lunch. The number of tour aLendees is limited to 45.

StarEng Point: Klas Restaurant, 5734 West Cermak Road, Cicero, IL
RegistraPon begins at 9:15 AM. A light breakfast will be served.
The bus begins boarding at 9:30 AM and leaves promptly at 9:45 AM.
Tour DuraEon: 6 hours. We will return to Klas Restaurant at 1:00 PM. You may leave your car in the Klas parking lot.
