As the whole world is emphasizing for prevention, the role of Physiotherapy becomes most important for the health

care services. Students along with staff involve greatly in community services through peripheral postings, camps

and community visits. Both students and the community benefit immensely from these endeavours that form the

core of the KLE Society’s beliefs.

In 1994, Bachelor of Physiotherapy course was started at KLE Society’s J.N. Medical College, Belgaum. Master of

Physiotherapy was started in the year 2000. Over a period of time, the Department of Physiotherapy at J.N.M.C has

evolved as an Institute known as KLE Society’s Institute of Physiotherapy, Belgaum affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi

University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. In the year 2007, the PG course of Institute of Physiotherapy was

inducted in KAHER and from session 2009-10, undergraduate and postgraduate courses were taken into fold of

prestigious KAHER.

The COMT’s main objective is intended towards an amalgamation

of the various manual concepts for neuromusculoskeletal

examination and treatment procedures into one complete

formulated system of orthopedic manual therapy. The Hands-on-

workshop is based on integrated approach of various manual

therapy concepts. After treating more than 85,000 patients and

conducting hundreds of workshops on various concepts by training

more than 10,000 physios collectively, we have picked up the best

techniques out of all the various Manual therapy Concepts. Best of

these concepts will be covered in this course.

Capri strongly believes that a successful clinician’s foundation lies

in strong and accurate orthopedic assessment to deliver qualitative

and appropriate treatment. This comprehensive certificate course

lays strong emphasis on orthopedic manual therapy to provide
