The objective of the conference is to share the latest research in the areas of electrical power, power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy, modelling and control systems. The conference also oers especially for the international delegates a chance to experience Malaysia’s rich and distinctive cultural diversity, local delights and natural attractions. PECON2016 is jointly organised by the IEEE Malaysia Power Electronics (PELS) Chapter and IEEE Malaysia Power & Energy Society (PES) Chapter. It is technically co-sponsored by Korean Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE). The organising committee mainly comprises of members from the Power Electronics & Drives Research Group (PEDG), UTeM. The conference program will feature welcoming reception, keynote & plenary sessions, technical paper presentations, local visits and gala dinner. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit high-quality technical papers in the following topics of interest.
