HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS ?

Is it about happiness ?

Is it about degrees ?

Is it about career ?

Is it about love ?

Is it about family ?

Is it about friendship ?

Is it about respect by community and society ?

Is it about money ?

HOW DO THE SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE

DO DIFFERENT

FROM THE OTHERS ?

Jeet Banerjee

Anyone can be a dreamer. It takes a special someone to be a dreamer and a doer. Successful people are always doers. They dream great things, but they know it won’thappen unless they put it into action. Successfulpeople always dream and plan hard before wastinglittle to no time to put their ideas into action.

1. They Dream & They Do

“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will”.

Vince Lombardi

Successful people work hard, very hard. They’re willing to grindand put in long hours without any return.

Most people think they should be getting paid immediately afterputting time into something. It’s not their fault; society hasraised us this way with the ‘hourly wage’ system.

However, entrepreneurship isn’t an hourly wage type of job. It’sa long-term commitment. You work your ass off for free for thenext 2 years on the hope that it will pay off 5 years later.

Successful people are willing to put in as much time and effortnecessary to succeed. They work long nights, stay focused, andnever give up.

2. They Grind

“The harder you work, the luckier you get”.Gary Player

Excuses don’t exist in the books of successful people. Great people don’t make excuses, they take accountability.

Successful people will always step up to the place and take accountability in any situation (no matter how bad it may be). They are willing to take blame because they know they will bounce back.

3. No Excuses

“He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else”.Benjamin Franklin

Successful people already knew they were going to besuccessful. They set goals and meet them.

Success is a mindset in many ways. If you want to besuccessful, you need to tell yourself that there isnothing in the world that will stop you from doing whatyou need to do.

4. Mindset

“Winners never quit and quitters never win”.Vince Lombardi

No risk, no reward. That’s a basic lesson of life.Successful people know they have to take risks andmany of them have taken huge ones to get wherethey are today.

Whether it’s dropping out of school to pursue yourdreams or quitting your 9 to 5 job, successful peopletake risks to make their dreams come true. Whenthey take risks, the pressure elevates and successfulpeople are clutch.

5. They Take Risks

“The biggest risk is not taking any risk... In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks”.

Mark Zuckerberg

Once you receive your degree and graduate fromhigh school or college, that is only the beginning ofyour education. In my opinion, school teaches youmore how to learn rather than set you up witheducation that will last your whole life.

Education is something that never dies. Successfulpeople know that and are always willing to improvetheir knowledge base.

6. They Never Stop Learning

“The day we stop learning is the day we die.” Michael Scott, The Warlock

In order to make money, you must be sellingsomething. Whether it’s a product, service, tool, feature, subscription, or yourself……you’re sellingsomething.

All successful people have sold a fair-share ofsomething to get where they are. You need to adoptthe skills necessary to be a successful salesman inthe world today. The more you sell, the more moneyyou make.

7. They Sell

“You should learn from the MONKS and the PRIESTS. They can sell GOD, they can sell anything”.

Thanh My Nguyen

Successful people have always told me, don’t do itonly for the money. The money is nice because whowants to cry on the side of the street when they cando it in a Mercedes, but it’s not everything.

Your motivation needs to come from somethingdeeper than your love of money. Find somethingyou’re passionate about and a really good reason whyyou want to do it!

8. They Do It For More Than The Money

“Successful people have a social responsibility to make the world a better place and not just take from it”.

Carrie Underwood

Successful people discipline themselves. Theyknow in their heads that success won’t comeeasy. They whip themselves to make sure they’redoing what they need to be doing.

Should I spend a day hanging out with my friendsor should I use that day to continue working onmy venture? Successful people are able to fightoff these thoughts and would use the day to workon their venture.

9. Strong Discipline

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment”.Jim Rohn

Many successful people will tell you that they werereally passionate about changing their lives andbecoming financially free. They may have literallybeen hungry or may have grown up in anenvironment where money was scarce.

Regardless of the reason, successful people arehungry. They’re never satisfied by the tastes ofsuccess and continue working hard until theyreach the end of their goal. When you becomesatisfied, you never grow. Successful people arealways hungry to achieve more !

10. They’re Hungry

“Stay hungry, stay foolish”.Steve Jobs

Success is a combination of happiness and selfsatisfaction which comes after hard work, presume youdesired. For something and you did numerous thing toget it and after applying all the effort, dedication, hardwork, what do you get that is SUCCESS.
