Women Enrollment: Special attention is given by organizing the functions

in the institutions meant for girls/women. For instance the state level function in 2012 was organized in DAV College for Women in Yamunanagar.

Director General, Women & Child Development Department, issued instructions to its machinery at the district level especially the Angan wari workers for maximizing the women enrollment.

MOU with Women University. DEOs have also signed 796 MOUs with various

Educational Institutions, NGOs, etc. 63 Campus Ambassadors/Coordinators have been

identified in schools and colleges.

Each one Reach one Campaign has been started by way of sending SMSs to already registered voters in order to take their help in approaching their near & dear ones for enrolment as voter.

Form 6 was supplied to the admission-seekers to Educational Institutions. The effort, though did not receive a huge response yet it made a good beginning.

DISTRICT LEVEL MEETING DEO/ROs held meeting with Principals & also addressed

students in colleges.

Ms.Meghna Malik, the famous TV Actress ( ammaji of Na Ana is Desh lado ) has been appointed State-icon with the approval of the ECI .
