Century 21 Realty ServicesQ&As with Ellen Bolock, Realtor

What is your business? My business is helping people buy and sell homes in all different stages of their lives.

What makes your company unique or different from your competition? Century 21 Realty Services is a company who puts their client’s needs first. We strive to exceed the expecta-tions of our clients by making the process of buying or selling a home as stress free as possible.

How are you moving your company forward? What are you doing to improve your business? Today I am working

to keep in the cutting edge of mar-keting in social media. There are many benefits to using the internet to help us market to buyer and sellers.

How did you end up in your cur-rent line of work? I was looking for a career change and Century 21 had a Career Night at their of-fice. I walked in and met some-one who spent a great deal of time talking to me about the business. I

decided to take the real estate class, really enjoyed the class, and I went to work for Century 21 Realty Services shortly af-ter.

If you could give an aspiring entrepreneur one piece of advice, what would it be? If you have an idea that you really believe in, go for it. It is hard work and dedication thatmakes you successful. If you are willing to spend the time to make your dreams come true you can usually do it. Be patient and stick with it.

What is the most challenging part of your job? As some-one new the world of sales, networking was the most chal-lenging part for me. I was not used to talking to people I did not know. Prospecting new clients, means getting out in the area and telling people what you do, and asking them to help you grow your new business. This was a whole new concept for me.

What is the best part of your job? Even though it may be stressful sometimes, the best part of my job is seeing the faces of a satisfied seller that can now move forward in life or handing the keys to a buyer that has been waiting for just the right house to come along. Making clients happy is the best part of being a real estate agent.

What is the best thing about running a business in or near Mechanicsburg? Mechanicsburg and the surrounding area is a great place to live whether you are single, raising a family, or retired. There is a real sense of community in the

OUR CHILDREN ARE PRECIOUS TO US. Our school bus drivers play a very important part in our community. Crime Watcher Lauren Stoner is a school bus driver and has agreed to tell us about her experi-ences. We follow school buses, grumbling. We will hear about the state laws. area. The schools are great, people like to support one an-other, and we are located close to many major cities.

What is your favorite Mechanicsburg Chamber event? At this time I would have to say the ladies luncheon. It is a great time meet other women and talk about the pros and cons of owning your own business. I have met a lot of great women at the lunches.

Tell us something about yourself that others may not know. I have lived in Mechanicsburg since 1988 with my husband and 2 sons. I enjoy kayaking the yellow breeches, jigsaw puzzles, and going out with friends to local restaurants.

Mid-Atlantic ProTel ranks no. 3534

on the 2015 Inc. 5000Inc. Magazine unveils 34th annual list of

America’s fastest-growing private compa-nies—the Inc. 5000

Inc. Magazine today ranked Mid-Atlantic ProTel on its 34th annu-al Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, Linkedin, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.

The story of this year’s Inc. 5000 is the story of great leader-ship. In an Incredibly competitive business landscape, it takes something extraordinary to take your company to the top,” says Inc. President and Editor-in-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “You have to remember that the average company on the Inc. 5000 grew nearly six-fold since 2012. Business owners don’t achieve that kind of success by accident."

Mid-Atlantic ProTel was previously ranked no. 4323 on the 2014 Inc. 5000 list. “We are humbled to be listed for the second year in a row, and climbed 800 places,” says Bryan Butler, CEO of Pro-Tel. “We go by the mantra ‘go big or go home’, and well, we’re far from home.” ProTel is the area’s leading AT&T Authorized Retailer. ProTel has recently expanded up to 22 stores in the four-state, with 8 in the Pittsburgh area alone.

The Inc. 5000 is a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. Started in 1982, this prestigious list of the nation's most successful private companies has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success.
