Introduction

Terrorists are groups of people who terrorize other people for their choices in life (such as religion or politics).

Terrorist are getting smarter, they are one step in front of our government.

Where do terrorists get their money?

They sell stolen items like CDs, T-Shirts, honey, leather, fish, and drugs. They also charge money on their bombing

jobs. Charities also raise money to help terrorists. Terrorists steal money from banks by hacking

into their software and transferring all the money.

Where do terrorists get their supplies?

Steal from military bases. Buy supplies from the black market. Make the supplies from modern day items. They take their enemies’ supplies.

Why do terrorists attack?

Terrorists don’t like our politics. They want something that they don’t have. They don’t like how we are running this

country.

Where do terrorists live?

Terrorists can live anywhere. Terrorists groups are based around the world,

for example: The IRA (Irish Republican Army) live in the

southern part of Ireland. The Taliban live in the Middle East. The Yakuza live in Japan.

How do we protect ourselves against terrorism?

Spy on terrorists and collect data about them. Cut off their money and supplies. Local law enforcement can monitor areas for

suspicious activities, like the recent Times Square incident.

Police Patrol Officer

Protect life and property in an assigned patrol district. Perform combination of patrolling a specific area on foot or in a vehicle; direct traffic; issue traffic summonses; investigate accidents; apprehend and arrest suspects, or serve legal processes of courts.

By 2016 there will be 19,130 jobs openings for a police patrol officer

The starting salary is $76,600 Deputy Sheriff and Sheriff

High School Career Academies

River Hill High School I chose Government, Public Administration,

and Law as my career academy. I thought that it will relate a lot to my job

since a police patrol officer enforces the laws.

College

George Mason College is located in Fairfax, Virginia.

The yearly tuition is $17,604. You need to take law and government classes for

2 years in high school to get into the Police Science program.

George Mason colleges mascot is a giant green blobby monster.

93% of George Mason students graduate.

Community Service

I would be a volunteer fire fighter for my community service.

I chose to be a volunteer fire fighter since it would give me experience of things that might happen in a normal police patrol officers life.
