Wild Bean“I can take criticism but just when it’s a load of b****cks that’s when I hit back”. Bean has of course been making all the headlines recently for his hotel room flings with the likes of Rita Ora, Taylor Swift and RiRi. Also his many Saturday night bar brawls putting up to 20 nights in police cells with bail receipts reach-ing up to around £20,000. “What I do on a night out is out of my control thanks to the devil that is alcohol and if some larky kid wants to have a go I ain’t gonna deny him some broken bones!”.

Welcome to the Bush “Growing up on a council estate in Shepherd’s Bush weren’t the best start to life but I wouldn’t change it for the world”. Joe was as wild as he is now when he was growing up. In some respects he thinks he has calmed down a lot, “As a boy I was kicked out of 3 schools then ended

up in youth offenders from 12-16 for hitting my headmaster over the head with a chair”. “I know you’re meant to have a lot of thinking time in gangs in London, they were known as The Bush Boys. The gang made Shepherd’s Bush a fortress and they were so pow-erful around London that the police wouldn’t even places like that but I just decided that he deserved it the wrong’en”. After getting out of youth offenders Bean became a part of the biggest touch them, “Bush boys was a good stage in my life at the time. I was untouchable but it was when I was 18 and I played a gig in Camden and a record producer offered me a deal that I had to get out but I still help my mates out with a bit of extra scratch because I know those lads would have my back till the death”.

Joe didn’t hold back with me at all and also told me about the time he caught his mum sleeping with his teacher, “I walked in on my mum and my year 6 teacher in bed under the covers and at the age I had a rough idea about lesbians but wasn’t really too sure so didn’t read into it that much but looking back on it now I feel sick.” As for Joes little sister he made it perfectly clear that she is his number one priority, “My little sister Lacey will never come to any harm. Even in the bush boys I made sure people knew who she was and not to ever touch her. When I was in youth offenders I left her to fend for herself and that killed me every day so now I’m rolling in money I’m going to give her the world”.

“Music is my roots and I stick to my roots” muttered Joe Bean the boy catch-ing all the headlines for his crazy gig antics and his old school style. Bean is

currently number one in the singles chart with his adaptation of the 1979 hit ‘London Calling’ from The Clash. “It feels great to know I’ve done the song

justice and the money it’s got me feels even better, my liver isn’t too fond of it though #Struggling”.

Tour Time can wait:After the epic success of London Calling Joe has now vowed to top the Christmas album chart and singles chart come December 25th putting a much anticipated European tour off till 2014. “My main priority for the coming year is to smash the charts with songs throughout the year which will ultimately form my first album planned for release in order to make it in your stockings for Christmas. It had been highly anticipated that we would see Bean travelling around the continent performing for his ever growing fan base but not for now, “I did plan on carrying on from where I left off with my UK tour and take it more global but I want to get my album out there with songs people want to come and hear first!”.

He’s not all Bad:Joe was quick to set the record straight that he doesn’t cause trouble for fun he is just usually looking for a laugh and on nights out he is known as a trouble maker so people go for him. “Every time I’m out I’m just having a dance and quite a few drinks a lot of blokes have some unknown vendetta against me as if I’ve shagged there Mrs and as a kid I learnt to nev-er back down”. Bean is a huge Q.P.R fan and has had a season ticket from the age of 5. Nothing would stop him going to Q.P.R he even cancelled a gig on Wednesday 2nd February in order to go to a night game away at Chelsea; all he had to say on the matter was “Its Chelsea away for god sake!”.

The Only Way Is Up:Although Joe has been signed to Polydor for 4 years it’s only in the last year or so that his career has took off and there has been a lot of specula-tion if he will be another one hit won-der but he is keen to set the record straight. “My life consist of 90% work, 10% play, I’m in the studio every day of my life working my a** off to make hit after hit and in the rest of this year everyone will see I’m no a one hit wonder, the only way is up for me”.

Inspiration is the key:Every artist needs someone to look up to and admire in Joe’s case how-ever this is a bit of an odd choice. “The Gallagher brothers are the big-gest inspiration for me as an artist. They have had all this bad press over the years and that never sops them making hit after hit. I met Liam when Q.P.R played Man City and he said words to me ill never forget, ’Peo-ple through your career will always dig you out now after a couple bad headlines but don’t ever let them get you down you will inspire a fan base if you just carry on making hits through it all’ so that’s exactly what I plan to do because at the end of the day the only people I care about judg-ing me are my family”.

Leader of the Twitter Wars:“Come and have a pop but I will leave you behind” was Joe’s message to any celebs who fancy a twitter argument. He has already had a well publicised

alliance with the bad boy of football Joey Barton in going to war with the cast of TOWIE and after Piers Mor-gan as well as solo battles with the like of Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Niall from One Direction. “Twitter to me is a bit of fun and a place to rant about my anger to jumped up artist such as Justin Bieber who charges 90 quid for a ticket then turns up 2 hours late or the likes of Chris Brown who goes round whacking up his Girlfriends and gets away with it they really infuriate me and I just bring them down to size”.

Drugs Demon has gone for good:“I’m off that stuff for good it almost took my life and I have too much to live for to let it do that”. With a cocaine addiction from the age of 16 Joe always was going to have a battle to get off it but at the age of 20 he had a life changing experience that brought on a much needed change, “I’d been out all night splashing cash and snorting 24/7 but I ran out so like every addiction I needed more and more so I found a dealer in a back al-ley and bought a batch but turned out this was laced with something and the next thing I knew I woke up in a hospital bed with tubes in me every-where. Apparently I had been found in an underpass completely out of it. That experience scared the life out of me and I haven’t touched the stuff since and never will”.
