In the Gospel today, Jesus says to us: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.”
In the month of May, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul brought the love and care of Jesus to the poor by assisting families with food and assistance for utility and rent bills, etc. Thank You!

TOTUS TUUS (Latin for TOTALLY YOURS)
is a Summer Catechetical Program for Children and Youth Being held at St. William. June 9-14
Grade School (Grades 1-6):
Monday-Friday 9:00 am—2:30 pm
Middle and High School (Grades 7-12): Sunday-Thursday 7:00 pm—9:00 pm
TOTUS TUUS is a diocesan program that gathers together college students and seminarians onto teams of four each and sends them out to parishes to spread the GOOD NEWS of our LORD among children and youth. For grade school children the program consists in catechetical instruction, songs, games, daily Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, lunch, recess and more. TOTUS TUUS balances strong catechetical content with having FUN! The high school program has catechetical instruction, a night of Adoration and Reconciliation, and a night of fellowship with the team. The goal of both programs is to help them to know the LORD and love him more deeply. Because of the youthful-ness and energy of the teachers the children and youth have FUN as well! All are invited to a parish “potluck” on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm to meet the team, learn about the content of the pro-gram, ask questions, and hear the children sing some songs.
SUNDAY, JUNE 2ND-CIVITAN PARK The 11:00 am Mass will be celebrated at Civitan Park with picnic to immediately follow. Meat and drinks will be provided. Bounce house fun for the kids. Everyone is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share using the below guidelines:

SIX SIX SIX WEEKS INTO OUR EASTER REJOICING, WEEKS INTO OUR EASTER REJOICING, WEEKS INTO OUR EASTER REJOICING, the Church gives us readings today that start preparing us for a return to ordinary life. The Acts of the Apostles and the Gospel both dwell on proper daily behavior for followers of Jesus, while the reading
from Revelation reminds us why we bother with laws at all. In Acts, leaders of the church meet to discuss which essential ele-ments of the Mosaic Law converts must obey if they wish to be disciples of Jesus Christ. John’s Gospel reflects back to the Last Supper discourse when Jesus himself emphasizes the importance of obeying God’s commandments. Observing God’s law, says Jesus, shows a desire to be intimate with the Lord. We follow rules not for their own sake, but to love God and neighbor better. This more excellent love brings us closer to Revelation’s vision of paradise, gleaming with “the splendor of God.”
