Email calendar

• Send (at most) 2 emails per month per chapter.

• All chapters will have a scheduled send week.

• The actual send date will be determined when you request a new email.

How to request a new email

1. Email [email protected] to request an email.

2. Your ASC (Alumni Services Coordinator) will remind you of your designated send week and help determine which day will be best to send.

3. Your ASC will assist you in collecting all the content and images needed to your email.

4. Marketing will create, code, and send your email.

Calendar item checklist

• Best to include all updates in one request.

• Be sure to include: - Event name- Date, time- Location (with address)- Contact person- Details about the event. At least one sentence of

description, preferably more.

Use registration forms for:

• Big events that include a ticket limit or a payment (i.e. Annual IU Night at the Chicago White Sox)

• Events that require numbers or other information (IU Cares volunteering)

• For less formal count or RSVP functionality, use Facebook and a calendar item. We can link to FB events from your IUAA calendar.

• Easy way to see who’s attending• ASC can run RSVP report at any time for

you• A list will be sent to you before each

event

Same process as for calendar updates:

1. Email [email protected].

2. ASC makes request.

3. When you request a form, that link serves as your calendar entry for that event.
