CHARACTERISTICS Inhibits cell wall production In actively growing bacterial cells Eliminating contaminating bacteria: Prevents competition for glucose Reduces yeast stress Increases alcohol yields Acetoban® is a beta lactam antimicrobial. It is a free flowing powder with neutral odor which controls gram negative and gram positive bacteria by interfering with the bacteria’s ability to produce functional cell walls. This product should be used when gram negative bacterial contamination is suspected as demonstrated by an increase in acetic acid production Water and ethanol soluble Does not harm yeast at recommended use rates Acetoban® should be used: When there is a suspected Acetobacter or other gram negative bacterial infection When there are unusually high lactic acid levels For use in fuel ethanol fermentors This product may be used in continuous or batch fermentors, as well as yeast propagators. This product is effective against commonly occuring acetic acid bacterial contaminants of fuel ethanol fermentations. 0.4 - 4.0 ppm NOT to exceed 4.0 ppm (0.4 ppm = 227 g per 567,750 L mash) (0.4 ppm = 8 oz per 150,000 gal mash) Caution: Do not exceed 4.0 ppm in the fermentor (2,271 g per 567,750 L mash; 80 oz per 150,000 gal mash) Initially, evaluate Acetoban at 0.4 ppm and adjust dosage with respect to organic acid levels. Acetoban can be dosed for maximum control at 4.0 ppm. This product is typically used when Acetobacter or other gram negative bacteria are suspected. This product can be dosed into the propagation tank and/or fermentor. Antimicrobial use is most efficient when it is added to the beginning of a fermentor and propagation tank fill as this is the period when yeast are typically not active and the carbohydrates are most susceptible to consumption by contaminating bacteria. Acetoban®Fermentation Antimicrobial

Acetoban® is a powdered beta lactam antimicrobial. It is eective against a wide range of gram negative and gram positive bacteria that commonly contaminate fuel ethanol fermentations.

CHARACTERISTICS

Inhibits cell wall production• In actively growing bacterial cells

Eliminating contaminating bacteria:• Prevents competition for glucose• Reduces yeast stress• Increases alcohol yields

Acetoban® is a beta lactam antimicrobial. It is a free flowing powder with neutral odor which controls gram negative and gram positive bacteria by interfering with the bacteria’s ability to produce functional cell walls.

• This product should be used when gram negative bacterial contamination is suspected as demonstrated by an increase in acetic acid production• Water and ethanol soluble• Does not harm yeast at recommended use rates

Acetoban® should be used:• When there is a suspected Acetobacter or other gram negative bacterial infection• When there are unusually high lactic acid levels• For use in fuel ethanol fermentors

This product may be used in continuous or batch fermentors, as well as yeast propagators. This product is effective against commonly occuring acetic acid bacterial contaminants of fuel ethanol fermentations.

• 0.4 - 4.0 ppm NOT to exceed 4.0 ppm• (0.4 ppm = 227 g per 567,750 L mash)• (0.4 ppm = 8 oz per 150,000 gal mash)• Caution: Do not exceed 4.0 ppm in the fermentor• (2,271 g per 567,750 L mash; 80 oz per 150,000 gal mash)

Initially, evaluate Acetoban at 0.4 ppm and adjust dosage with respect to organic acid levels.

• Store cool and dry• This product is packaged in water soluble bags that will compromise if exposed to high humidity or wet locations • Re-tie inner poly lining and seal lid on pail after each use

• Packaged in 8 ounce water soluble bags in 20 pound tamper-proof plastic pails
