Description:
Is your office dull? Or perhaps you are looking for a finishing touch that can make the décor come to life? Or maybe you are searching for a great cause for donation that will contribute to the development of your local community? Why not combine the two? “ALL art is immortal,” said Oscar Wilde. It has emotional and aesthetic value. But with this art auction, the feel-good effect is doubled. RAG and Bummit present a first time and one-time only opportunity to purchase original artwork in support of Sheffield charities at the Charity Art Auction 2014.

Beata Lozinska

Painter, architect, businesswoman

She worked professionally as an architect, creating archi-tectural forms and interior designs in architectural offices in Graz (Austria), Nurtingen and Stuttgart (Germany), New York, and Wroclaw (Poland).

She is a master of the pastel crayons and her pastel draw-ings were exhibited at the Nurtingen Town Hall and in Art Galleries in Wroclaw. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, she started paiting with oil paints on location in Poland, Italy, and Japan. Her paintings adorn the principal’s office at the Osaka University (Japan) and various premises in Rome and Gaeta (Italy).

She desires to be recognized for her paintings and that her paintings become objects of desire themselves. Her goal is to open an exhibition at the Guggenhaim Museum in New York.

How far back can one reach into their childhood memories?

In my most distant memory, I see brightness. My mother and I leave a dark, deep interior. We step out into the light. We walk towards the Sun. And it is pouring Rain. Large drops of water fall. And there is radiance reflected in each and every single one of them. It’s beautiful. This is the image I carry deep in my heart. The world is filled with golden light. And every colour is its reflection. The white, shaded ceiling shimmers yellow, green and violet. No single colour is unambiguously defined. I’m an architect. I love the Form, which shapes structures, and is shaped by function. Nothing is random. Although all is seemingly chaotic. In nature, composition is a com-plete creation. I recreate reality faithfully. The Real World is my inspiration. When reality loses its spatiality, three-dimensionality in the painting becomes an abstract – a composition of colours. The final result surprises me every time. The titles can be understood as Metaphors, Poetry, or interpretations of the composition. They will speak to those who love Words. Each oil canvas is painted with joy and emotion. I give it my love. And although it is difficult to part with it, I release it into the world.May it become a part of you and bring light into the space around you.

There is light inside of me
