Charles Baugh, Jr. was born in Nashville Tennessee and raised in Tampa Florida. In 2005 Charles retired from the United States Air force after 28 years at Eglin Air Force Base, as Chief Eglin Command Post. Currently Charles is employed as a government contractor, for the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base and serving an appointment to the City Council by the Council, May 27, 2008, to unexpired term of the Honorable Brenda O. E. Bush.

Councilmember Chip Wells was first elected to the City Council in 2003. He was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Toledo and then joined the United States Air Force. He was assigned to Eglin Air Force Base and moved to Crestview in 1992. After retiring from the Air Force in 2001, he entered the private work force. Chip currently works in the private Aerospace Industry in the Supply Chain Management area and brings his business sense and knowledge of business and professional working relationships to the Council and the City to aid in the planning, budgeting, and development areas of City Government.
