Cherish Nature, it´s Beautiful

Theme: The theme of my photo album will be environmental

care. It is a topic in which I will edit pictures to show why

people need to take care of the environment. I need to put

pictures that would inspire people to appreciate more the

beauty of nature. I will have photos in which I will show the

beauties in nature such as animals, places like forests, the

Antarctic, and other natural views. The purpose was to

highlight the beauties through image manipulation using many

different tools and designs for each picture.

Message: The message is to care about nature and appreciate

it. The message will be transmitted through beautiful, nice

pictures. My hopes are that when people look at these pictures

they will have a feeling of inspiration towards the beauties

living in the world. The intention of the pictures is to create a

feeling of appreciation so that people start taking care of

nature. With this, the people need to realize that humans are

responsible for many destroying of nature and so they need to

take care of it. People should care about nature, protect it, and

cherish it.

Galapagos Islands.- The  techniques  I  used  for  the  edition  of  this  picture  is  the  smudge  tool  for  all  of  the  sea,  I  used  the  copy  tool  to  copy  the  right  far  away  mountains  to  the  left  side  to  do  a  new  bigger  mountain.  Also,  I  used  the  airbrush  tool  with  a  dark  blue  color  to  paint  the  sky,  and  then  I  used  the  smudge  tool  in  the  sky  so  that  it  looks  more  cloudy  and  also  cooler.

     Giraffes.-­‐  For  this  picture  I  used  the  increase  in  lightness  for  the  sky  and  increase  in  darkness  for  the  giraffes  and  the  landscape  (the  dodge  and  burn  tool).  Other  techniques  used  in  this  picture  were  the  copying  of  one  giraffe  and  adding  it  to  the  end,  to  blend  the  copied  image  I  used  the  smudge  and  blur  tool  so  that  the  copy  and  pasting  didn´t  look  so  obvious.

   Nature  Wallpaper.-­‐    For  this  picture  I  used  the  selection  tool  of  the  lasso  and  selected  the  upper  part  of  the  picture  and  then  desaturated  it.  For  the  reflection  that  is  shown  in  the  lake  I  used  the  cartoon  filter.  You  can  see  this  effect  affected  the  reflection  of  the  clouds  more.

   Epping  Forest.-­‐  For  this  image  I  used  the  technique  of  using  another  image  (different  colors  spreaded  out)  and  I  put  it  as  one  layer  on  top  of  the  other  one.

   Jungle Wallpaper.- For this picture I used only the colorize

tool and put only a yellow cover to make the forest look like

gold.

   Tiger.- For this picture I used the darken tool for the tiger and

all of the picture. Also, I used a colorization technique to

highlight the blue parts. (Also a bit of the filter cartoon)

Polar  Bear  Arctic.-­‐  In  this  picture  I  used  the  most  effects.  I  put  a  cubism  and  clothing  filters  to  make  it  look  like  if  it  was  in  drawn  in  a  napkin.  Then  I  used  the  increase  in  lightness  for  the  white  parts.
