The state government has decided to make a well intended new city for Raipur regarding the development of Chhattisgarh Infrastructure.

The authority of Naya Raipur Development Authority has Chairman, CEO and other team members. Chief Executive officers selected by government and other officers and staff

working under NRDA organization.

As a part of improvement activities, NRDA is developing and shall develop infrastructure, efficacy and social projects by diverse procurement methods like Public Private Partnership framework, engineering procurement contracts Percent Rate/ Item Rate/ lump sum contract

etc,

Naya Raipur has been incorporated in the Jawahar Lal Nehru Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM) as a Mission City in the Raipur city with the aim of Chhattisgarh Infrastructure.

Naya Raipur has also been chosen as a revelation city under the World Bank assisted Sustainable Urban Transport Project (SUTP)/Global Environmental Facility (GEF) being

executed by the Government of India.
