Christmas Eve in PolandChristmas Eve in Poland is on 24th

December. It is a family day. We give presents. We

decorate the Christmas tree. We put different glass balls and sometimes sweets on it.

Christmas Eve-traditionsIn Poland we have a lot of Christmas customs.

We put money under plates. We share wafer and say good wishes to each other. We prepare 12 dishes for the table: fish, borscht, poppy seed cake. We prepare one additional seat and plate at the table.

New Year’s EveIn Poland we celebrate New Year’s Eve very

happily.We fire colorful fireworks. It is beautiful. We

count seconds to the beginning of the New Year.
