In these difficult and uncertain times, we can easily feel isolated and separated from our parish community. We may be so concerned about caring for ourselves that it seems there is little we can do to help the world and people around us. Yet, in his encyclical Laudato Si (On the Care of our Common Home), Pope Francis, emphasizing love as a motivating force, calls on all to do their part to protect the environment in order to improve the lives of the poor today and guarantee a better world for future generations. But how can we practically carry out his ideas when we are restricted by an unprecedented pandemic? Beginning the week of September 21, the Spiritual Formation Committee of Saint Clare and Saint Paschal Baylon will be offering the program Creation at the Crossroads via Zoom so you can participate from the safety of your home. Through Scripture, prayer, faith-sharing questions, and practical ideas for protecting and caring for the environment and people, this program will help you envision small ways to move to faith-based action.

This year’s program has 12 sessions. We will have 6 sessions in the fall 2020 and 6 sessions in the spring of 2021. The cost of the book is $17.00. You will use the same book for each season. Financial assistance is available to offset the cost, if needed.

Because of the health issues around COVID-19 and the health of our team leaders and our office staff, we are not having a registration table.
