AN INVITATION FROM PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL
We councilors assist Father Klasinski in his role as shepherd of our parish (while the Finance
Council assists him in his role as steward). This weekend we introduced the Welcome Home
parish ministries brochure, registered new parishioners and hosted coffee and donuts. Last year,
we sponsored the biannual parish ministry fair and hosted the pastors Jubilee celebration.
Spiritual Formation and Wellness Ministry were Council initiatives. Does Council sound like a
good fit for you? Councilors serve a four-year term. We meet on the second Monday of the
month (not December, July and August). For more information, please email Council Chair
Mary Lou Capichioni and [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you!

Approximately 1,700 women use one or more of
their services each year. This is made possible by
generous donors. We invite you to take this
opportunity to support life!

THE JOURNEY . . . A WAY TO DEEPEN YOUR EXPERIENCE OF JESUS
During Lent, the Spiritual Formation Committee of Saint Clare and Saint
Paschal Baylon will be offering an opportunity for a unique and powerful
experience. You are invited to join small faith-sharing groups, similar to the
ARISE groups that have met over the past couple of years. Our new program,
entitled THE JOURNEY, is a six-week program of sharing, prayer, and
reflection that can help everyone—parishioners, family, friends and neighbors
grow in faith. THE JOURNEY brings us into contact with those who knew
and encountered Jesus. Through videos and sharing, their experiences
become real in our day . . . in our personal lives . . . in our relationships with
God...and others.
Each participant will receive a book which contains faith-sharing materials, consisting of prayer,
scripture readings, reflections and faith-sharing questions. You are asked to contribute $10.00,
which covers the cost of the book; scholarships are available. Groups will meet once a week at
different times during the day and in the evening, both at Saint Clare and Saint Paschal.
Everyone is talking about a personal experience of Jesus . . . especially Pope Francis. Come and
see what it is all about.
Registration forms, where you can choose the day and time you would like to meet, are
available in the business office or on the parish website, www.saintclare.net. Please register by
February 4 so we can order the books. If you have any questions or would like further
information, call Barbara Curran at 440-840-5511 or Rosalie Lewis at 440-227-8718. Take your
Lenten Journey with Jesus!
