The Catholic Faith Explained
The Story of Salvation: The Greatest Story Ever Told
From the time of creation to the present day, God has been unfolding his plan of salvation, calling his people
back to an intimate relationship through Jesus, his Son. We each have God-given roles to play in this story and
if we refuse God’s loving invitation, the entire world suffers. The reality is that God’s story of love isn’t
complete without each one of us. Are you ready to accept your role in this story?
The Spiritual Formation Committee of Saint Clare and Saint Paschal invites you to the April session of
Symbolon, as we explore our participation in the story of salvation. You may attend either the session on
Monday, April 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Eymard Room at Saint Paschal; or on Thursday, April 12
from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Harvest Room at Saint Clare. There is no registration fee, so please come
and be a part of this exciting adult faith formation program.
If you have any questions or would like further information, call Barbara Curran at 440-840-5511 or
Rosalie Lewis at 440-227-8718.
Boy Scout Troop 433 would like to thank all
parishioners and those who attended our Lenten
Fish Fry, for helping make this year’s Fish Fry a
huge success. With your support, we sold over
1,600 meals. Your generous support has
afforded every Scout who worked during the
Lenten season the opportunity to attend Boy
Scout summer camp. On behalf of every Scout in
Troop 433, THANK YOU!!
Volunteers Needed Please help support the
‘FUTURE OF OUR FAITH Some of the youngest members of our parish need your help. The Sunday School Bake Sale is right around the corner and volunteers are needed. Please consider donating baked goods and/or your time, after all Masses on Sunday, April 15. Show your support by baking anything from a batch of cookies to specialty breads and treats. Please bring the goodies to room #17 on Saturday, April 14, from 3:30-6:00 p.m. to be wrapped and tagged. Donations will also be accepted on Sunday, April 15, before each Mass begins. Don’t forget to stop by next week and get yourself a treat after Mass!!
Items Needed for Saint Clare Festival

baskets. Call Mary at 440-449-6873. The
collection ends May 13.

Saint Clare Festival
Come for the Fun!
April 2018 To Our Fellow Saint Clare Parishioners, The 2018 Saint Clare Festival is only weeks away, but the planning group has been working since November 2017 to make sure this year’s festival will be fresh and a great success.
We could really use your help! The festival needs many volunteers to operate the numerous positions to make the festival possible. Yes, it means 2-4 hours of your valuable time. And it is your time we really need. From experience, we can tell you that you will enjoy your work because you can see it making a difference, live, right in front of you, making our festival the area’s most anticipated family festival. It is very easy to sign up. You select the task(s), the dates and shifts online. Browse to either
www.SaintClare.net Select Parish > Festival > Volunteer Corner or www.SaintClareFestival.net click on Volunteer Signup.
Both sites have complete instructions. The proceeds from Saint Clare Festival make a big difference in Saint Clare’s budget. You can make a big difference by volunteering some of your valuable time!
