Dear Parish Family, A WARM WELCOME TO ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS AND ALL WHO ARE VISITING WITH US TODAY! Please know we are very happy you have decided to worship with us today. You are most welcomed and loved at this special place! If you need any type of service or ministry please do not hesitate to call me or any member of our staff. We are most happy to serve you!

ASH WEDNESDAY: Ash Wednesday this year falls on Wednesday, February 14 (St. Valentine's Day). Masses will be celebrated at 9:00am, 12:05pm and 7:00pm. Please join us for Holy Mass as we begin this sacred time of the year.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS AND BENEDICTION: Please join us every Friday of Lent at 1:30pm or 7:00pm for Stations of the Cross and Eucharistic Benediction.

DAILY MASS: Daily Mass is offered every morning at 9:00am. During the Season of Lent, will you be able to attend the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass? It is the perfect Prayer!

FORMED is Here! I was happy to offer all of our parishioners and friends a FREE SUBSCRIPTION to FORMED.ORG this Christmas. Formed offers free

downloadable books, Bible studies, video & movies with a Catholic focus. Log on at www.formed.org and sign up using your email address and Parish Code: X2WWKF.

AMAZONSMILE: Amazonsmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prizes, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate

0.5% of the purchase price of the eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice. Every item available for purchase on www.amazon.com is also available on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com) at the same price. You will see eligible products marked "Eligible for AmazonSmile donation" on their product detail pages. Consider giving to Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church (Schwenksville) when you are shopping all year round.

SACRIFICIAL OFFERING: I kindly ask if you will be able to increase your weekly sacrificial offering. Perhaps, $1, $2, or $5. For our parishioners using Electronic Funds Transfer, I kindly ask if you can adjust your amount. If you are not able to increase your

offertory, I truly understand. I give thanks to God for you and your sacrifice. I especially Thank God for your presence at Mass Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning --This is the GREATEST GIFT we can give to our loving God. Thanks for everything you do for our parish! You are THE BEST!!!

SHOE DRIVE: Our Parish Community is sponsoring a SHOE DRIVE. Saint Basil the Great once said: "The shoes in your closet that you are not wearing, belong to someone else". There are so many people living

without the necessities of daily living. Perhaps you can help these brothers and sisters of ours by providing them a pair of NEW or LIGHTLY USED SHOES from your closet. Help someone else WALK by providing them foot wear for the journey. Drop off your new or lightly used FOOT WEAR at the ENTRANCE of our CHURCH. Thank you! When I was naked, you clothed me. ~ Matthew 25.

LENTEN MEALS: Friday Lenten Meals are back by popular demand. Beginning February 23 until March 23 we will be happy to provide and serve you a meatless cuisine in our Parish Hall for a modest price. Please join us for dinner during these

Fridays of Lent from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Have a nice week, everyone!

Love and prayers, Father Bellopede

LENTEN WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Jesus, the Suffering Servant:

Part One – Mark 1-8 By: Stephen J. Binz

Mark wrote his Gospel for the persecuted church in

Rome. This first half of the Gospel focuses on the

question for all disciples, “Who do you say I am?” In his

fast-paced gospel, Mark highlights those parts of the

tradition that will help the church understand Jesus better

and follow him more faithfully. As participants in this

study, you will learn that following Jesus requires radical

conversion, deep faith in Him, and constant readiness for

the coming of God’s kingdom. Please consider joining us

for this 8-week study. Two sessions will be offered on

Thursdays from 10-11:30 A.M. or 7-8:30 P.M. beginning

February 22, 2018. Please contact Linda Nichols at

215-256-4941 or [email protected] by February 15th

to register. There will be a nominal fee for the study

guide.

SAINT MARY SHOE DRIVE Getting rid of old shoes in your closet? Don’t

throw them out! Saint Mary Catholic School is

holding a shoe drive of gently used (or new)

shoes to be given to developing nations to aid them in

creating their own economic opportunities. How does it

work? Place each pair of shoes in a plastic bag and drop

off your donations in the large plastic bins by the front

door of the Catholic Education Center. What can we

accept? Anything – as long as they are in good condition

(intact soles and no holes), clean, and have their laces (if

necessary). Saint Basil the Great said, “The shoes

in your closet that you don’t wear belong to

someone else”. Please help us find these shoes a

new home! Contact Suzette at 610-287-7757 x 244 for

more information.
