Ciclovia Health Fair On Sunday, April 14, 2019, EMSOP student pharmacists worked together at Ciclovia to educate community members about diabetes, hypertension, vaccinations, opioid abuse, and OTC medication safety. With the support of bilingual student pharmacists and preceptors, students provided culturally comprehensive counseling to Spanish-speaking patients at EMSOP's largest collaboration with the New Brunswick community. Altogether, the student pharmacists screened 86 patients for diabetes and hypertension. EMSOP student organizations collaborate to provide free diabetes and blood pressure screenings as well as educational activities for the New Brunswick community.
