Overview of CSC Chalets
1) How many CSC chalets are there, and what are the types of chalets available?
Civil Service Club (CSC) manages a total of 110 chalet units across CSC @ Changi I, CSC @ Changi ll
(Former Aloha Changi) and CSC @ Loyang (Former Aloha Loyang). The chalets range from cosy 1-
bedroom suites, to generously sized 5 and 6-bedroom bungalows. There are chalets that are handicap
friendly, as well as dog-friendly. The website links, virtual tour links and other details of the chalets
can be found in the Annex (page 7). As of 8 September 2020, only the chalets at CSC @ Changi l are
opened for booking.
2) Who are eligible to book the CSC chalets?
The chalets can be booked by CSC members, Public Service officers from Government Ministries and
Statutory Boards, staff from Mainstream Universities and Public Healthcare organisations, MINDEF
personnel as well as the general public.
3) What are the rates for Public Service officers?
All Public Service officers from Government Ministries and Statutory Boards, staff from Mainstream
Universities and Public Healthcare organisations, and MINDEF personnel (Regulars and staff only,
excluding National Servicemen Full-time) will enjoy a single category chalet rate termed as Public
Service officers’ rate. National Servicemen Full-time (NSFs) are considered as public category, and will
pay as Public rate. The Public Service officers’ rate is 20% lesser than Public rate.
4) What is the booking period for Public Service officers?
The booking period of the chalets are as follows. Public Service officers have 30 days more than the
Public booking period.

5) What is the priority code for Public Service officers?
The priority code for Public Service officers, staff from Mainstream Universities and Public Healthcare
organisations, and MINDEF will change from 29 September 2020, and remain valid till 28 September
2021. The use of the priority code applies to all CSC chalets. For staff who are CSC members, they do
not need to use the priority code for the booking of chalets.

Covid-19 Measures and Advisories for Chalets
6) Which chalets are reopened?
Our chalets at CSC @ Changi l are not designated as a Government Quarantine Facility (GQF) and have
reopened for stays after Phase 2. As of 8 September 2020, the chalets at CSC @ Changi ll and CSC @
Loyang are still designated as GQF and will remain closed till further notice.
7) What are the safety measures in place?
The Club places heavy emphasis on the safety and well-being of every chalet guest and our staff. Below
are the measures taken at the chalets As of 8 September 2020:
• Each chalet is limited to a maximum of 5 persons regardless of the chalet size. This applies to
family members living under the same address. The 5 persons must be registered, and are not
interchangeable
• As the mandatory entry requirement, all chalet guests are required to have their temperatures
taken, and entries recorded via Safe Entry before proceeding to the Chalet Front Office. Chalet
guests with temperature above 37.5 degrees will not be allowed to enter the clubhouse or
chalets
• All chalet guests are to wear their masks when they leave their unit
• Staggered timings will be allocated for check-ins and check-outs. Only one representative is
allowed to process the check-in at the Front Office

8) How are the chalets being cleaned and sanitised?
Beyond the standard cleaning in compliance with NEA guidelines, the Club introduced enhanced
sanitisation of the rooms using professional equipment. Rooms are now disinfected with UV light and
misted to remove air borne particles.
9) Where do I check for updates on the reopening of the Loyang and Changi ll chalets?

Availability and Booking
10) How do I check the availability and rates of the chalet?
Checking of the chalet availability and rates can be done through the Chalet
Booking Portal at www.cscchalets.sg or by scanning the following QR code. Click
on “Book Now” on the Chalets Booking Portal and select “Check Room Availability
and Rate Types” on the Online Rooms Booking System page.
11) How do I book?
All bookings will be processed through the Chalet Booking Portal. Before any booking can be made,
you are required to log in or register an account. For those who have not registered before, you are
to follow the steps on the portal to sign up an account. To begin, key in your Priority Code at the point
of registration on “Enter Priority Code” to access your booking privileges as Public Service rates. If no
priority code is registered, the chalet rates and booking window will be reflected as Public rates. Please
note that to register your account, you must successfully register and complete a booking online, after
which the password will be forwarded to you. CSC members can simply log in using their Membership
ID and password.
12) Can I change or amend my booking?
You may only change or amend your booking due to compassionate or medical reasons.

13) Can I resell my chalet?
Reselling of the chalets you have booked to another person is not allowed under any circumstances,
and check-in will be refused.
14) How many consecutive nights can I book at one time?
Each person can book up to 5 consecutive nights at one time. For longer stays, please contact:

15) How many chalet units can I book at one time?
Each person can only book 1 chalet unit during the same stay period. Under the chalet terms and
conditions, it is strictly prohibited to sublet your chalet to another individual.
16) Does CSC engage any intermediary or individual to promote or market the chalets?
Generally, CSC does not engage any intermediary or individual to promote or market the chalets.
Please exercise caution when you see an online deal that is too good to be true. Even if a listing appears
legitimate, it could be a scam. Should you need to clarify or verify any promotions or news about the
chalets, please email to [email protected].
17) If I have difficulties in booking, what should I do?
You can email to the respective chalet properties and provide the details, as well as a screengrab of
the error.

Enhancements and Promotions
18) What are the new and upcoming enhancements at the chalets?
The Club continuously upgrades and enhances the chalet offerings to improve the chalet experience.
CSC @ Changi l is awarded with the BCA Green Mark (Gold) since 2019. To provide a green and
sustainable stay, the chalets are equipped with eco-friendly amenities such as eco-friendly water
dispenser, water heating system and zero waste packaging for toiletries.
Do look out for the other initiatives and improvement works to be completed soon. These includes
pillow selection and sightseeing tour packages to Pulau Ubin.

19) What are Wonderful Wednesday Promotions?
Every Wednesday, the Club will release last-minute chalet deals up to 40% off standard rates. The
promotion is only applicable to chalets that are available in the specified period. Bookings can be made

21) Can I use the chalets for my department or agency’s team bonding activities or corporate
cohesion?
Yes, team bonding activities and corporate cohesion can be organised at the chalets. You can enjoy
corporate rates for the use of chalets for team bonding and corporate cohesion purposes. The
chalets are also under the Demand Aggregation (DA) contract for the Meeting and Event Venue

Introduction: Enjoy a staycation or family get-together at the generously sized chalets at CSC @ Changi II (former Aloha Changi). Set close to nature and preserved in rustic colonial style, there are 49 units ranging from one-bedroom to 6-bedrooms bungalows. The chalets were refurbished in 2019.
