Assessment 2.1 part 2

• In this assessment you have to actually create the initial site.

• It may not be the final look and feel, it will not have all the information

• If you have not done it, do it right away. Otherwise we have no place to put stuff.

• Use my naming convention or Santa will avoid your house. Ho ho ho.

Assessment 2.2Your Vision and Mission

• These should be on your portfolio site but many of you have yet to create the site. So I can’t grade them and others can’t comment.

• I will put off grading these for a couple of days so you can complete them and comment.

• See the assessment sheet please.

Assessment 2.3 - Identify Standards

Part 1: Identify the standards that your portfolio will be based on.

• You may choose whatever set of standards you want but please make sure that it is relevant to you and your profession and career. If you are a teacher, content standards or media/technology standards might apply. (The choice is yours but you should choose with care because you will be annotating this set of standards with work you have done.)

• Use the forum, "My Standards" for this assignment. Title your posting: "YOURNAME has Standards."

• In this post, start with the URL of your standards so that we may see them, then reflect, in a few paragraphs, how these standards represent you and your work, personally and/or professionally.

Assessment 2.3 - Identify Standards

Part 2: Create a section on your portfolio site titled: "Standards." •In the introduction to this section describe the standards in your own words. Feel free to include the reflection from part 1 of this assignment. •On your portfolio site, list each standard and describe and display at least one artifact for each standard. Artifacts should be drawn from CEd coursework if possible. You may display these as links or as attachments to the page. Maker sure they are visible to the reader.  (One artifact might overlap more than one standard). •Be sure that the description for each artifact tells why you specifically selected that artifact and how it exemplifies and demonstrates that particular standard. There should be no question in the reader's mind as to why this artifact was chosen for a particular standard.

CEDo555-Assessment 2.4• This assessment is an annotated listing of

the courses that you have taken in this master's program. It gives you a chance to show off what you have done and what you have learned. You may use artifacts that you used before and you may use the same artifact more than once. Be sure that the artifact clearly displays what was done in the particular class.

• Add a section to your portfolio site called "CEd Program" this section will house pages for classes and the artifacts or links to them.

Assessment 3.1 - C-E-Proposal

• There are 9 sections if you count instructor approval and any additions or corrections as the ninth section.

 • I want to give one additional piece of

information for part 8 the assignment says:"...outlines a proposed timeline for project completion (estimate the steps to the project in days and hours)”

Make certain that this timeline represents at least 30 hours of work for you. Without a 30 hour proposal Louis or I can't agree that it will represent 2 credits.
