We are beginning the new year with a new unit of work called ‘People of God’. In this unit we will explore:

How human beings are the pinnacle of God’s creation because we are made ‘In His image’.

We will consider what this means and how this sets us apart from the rest of creation to have a relationship with God.

We will also learn how God revealed Himself to key people in the Old Testament, such as Abraham & Moses, creating a covenant with them.

We will consider how this is important to both Christians and Jews today.

We will explore key beliefs, and aspects of celebration and worship with the Jewish religion.

We will reflect on how as Christians, our beliefs about Jesus helps us understand the fuller meaning and significance of the Old Testament.
