• Re purpose street space from roads & parking to pedestrian usage

• Remove herring bone parking at O’Connell street for road safety reasons

• Encourage use of off-street parking facilities e.g. Suir Island car park

Impacts:

• Loss of parking on O’Connell St. (26 spaces)

• Loss of parking on Gladstone St. South (3 spaces)

• Total 29 spaces lost
