Founded in 1975 Colegio Maravillas is a private primary and secondary school

recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education. It has modern and bright facilities: Large

and nice classrooms, a dining room, a bar-cafeteria, library, common rooms, teachers’

room, secretary offices, a laboratory for biology, for physics and chemistry classes, a

computers room, a small theatre and a room for the drawing classes.

In addition the school has a covered sports pavilion, more sport fields outside and a

swimming pool.

Summer course for teenagersThis course is designed for young people from 13 to 17 years and is held during school holidays - June to August - with flexible starting dates. It combines

formal classroom tuition with a varied programme of supervised leisure activities, visits and excursions to introduce the students to Spanish culture, sports and lifestyles.

This prestigious private school has recently opened brand new premises offering at present new and modern facilities.

Colegio Maravillas is located in a safe residential area of Benalmadena, only 10 minutes walking distance from the beaches.

hours tuition weekly in small

groups of 15 students.

On the first day all students

take a Language Assessment

Test which allows us to place

them in the appropriate

classes; we accept all levels

from beginners to advanced.

The lessons concentrate on oral and listening skills. Our friendly

and enthusiastic teachers encourage role plays and debates and

will help you building your confidence in speaking and

communicating in Spanish. Students receive a Course Completion

High school students: 16 / 18 yearsColegio Maravillas, a secondary school

officially recognized by the Ministry of

Education and Science of Spain, offers foreign

students the possibility to attend the academic

year on its premises in Benalmadena.

The Spanish education system is based on the

following programme:

After the E.S.O. studies (Enseñanza secundaria

obligatoria) the students complete their studies

with 2 school years of Baccalaureate, choosing

either Sciences or Humanistic studies with a

total of 30 hours weekly.

The accommodation is in selected host families, most of them are parents of

our own students, provided in double rooms and on full board basis.

The host families will look after the foreign students at all times who together

with a school tutor will be in charge of their well-being, supervision, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS:•Be between 16 and 18 years old

•Have an average level of Spanish

•Have obtained an average of “good“the last three years

•Be in good health

This programme has been designed for school groups

interested in a short stay in Benalmadena with a

programme inclusive of Spanish lessons in the morning,

sports and social activities, conferences and visits or

excursions. The programme is available from September

to June for school groups (minimum 8 participants)

travelling with a teacher and based on family stay.

15 hours tuition per week,

taught by experienced teachers, all levels.

Family accommodation, double rooms

and on half or full board basis. All families

situated within walking distance from the

school.
