• Collective intelligence is defined as a form of network, by the rise of communication technology.
• The Internet is widespread use of mass media, it holds vast quantities of information that is widely available to the masses.

• The internet offers the opportunity to contribute to community-based knowledge such as Wikipedia.
• Wikipedia is a free multilingual free content encyclopedia that is based on the web.
• It allows anonymous contributors to share and store information. The website consists of 14 million articles from over 75 thousand active participants.
•It allows you edit other peoples articles and add additional information.
•Online Collection of knowledge
•Users can be of any age, culture and social background. Wikipedia also offers these article in over 260 languages making it a universal website.
