> Without Sharon, large parts of our program would not have happened as painlessly as it did this year.

> Continually goes out of her way to provide support to me as a convenor.

> Fi is always one step ahead, completely on top of what needs to be done and, most times, has already done it. She is often in the background, doing the hard yards, and goes unnoticed, even though she has been the main contributor to our success.

> Her ability to effectively engage and liaise with various staff, both academic and professional, has been a pleasure to observe. Her commitment to her team is phenomenal.

> She maintains a positive can-do attitude but also is not afraid to stand up when she has a different opinion. A stalwart figure within the College, she is the Grande Dame of Student Administration. She will be sadly missed.

> They are tenacious in their commitment to getting our students through to Admission. I really admire the way they are across all the jurisdictional nuances but also the way they manage to keep up the energy for this throughout the year.

JDO Educational Developer

‘Rising Star’ award for a new College professional staff member

> Her role is a challenging one, and I suspect the hours and commitment she puts in often go unnoticed.

> Did a wonderful job facilitating technophobes like myself and ensure a final polished look to the JDO.

> Kat has been the reason that the JDO content, websites and system back end has worked at all.

> She has assisted all involved in the JDO get ideas from their heads to the screen and to the JDO students.

> She was always accepting of the reality that she work under very tight time frames and I never heard a complaint.

> Kat proposed that she design an online teaching repository for Indigenous content and perspective material for use by teachers in the College. The idea is in its early stages, but it received endorsement as a possible national project at a recent Indigenous Cultural Competency Workshop in Melbourne.

> Anita has repeatedly gone out of her way to ensure the highest quality services are delivered to those whom she supports. She has demonstrated a potential for excellence through the delivery of support services and work outputs that clearly exceed expectations. She consistently goes above and beyond.
