Colour SchemeFor colour scheme, I chose to have an autumn feel to my magazine, so I decided to have autumn colours in my magazine and also the photos. I felt that this colour scheme would go well with my magazine because it represent the time of year and it would show the audience/reader when the magazine is for and when the events would be. Also having this colour scheme, it would add a warming feel to the magazine, making the audience want to read it. This colour scheme would make the audience think of sunny but cold autumn days and for the events it would tell them that they would have to wrap up warm.

Colour SchemeI found that these colours looked really nice and that most magazines, when they publish their autumn issues, they usually use the autumn colours to give a theme to the magazine and giving the audience an idea of what may be in the magazine, depending on what the magazine is about.

Colour Scheme I didn’t use

I tried different colours for my magazine, for photos and the magazine itself. I tired dark colours, such as, black, blue and grey but they didn’t suit my magazine because my magazine features a lot of different styles of music and a colour scheme that would go well with one genre of music, wouldn’t go with another genre so I chose to go with a seasonal colour scheme so it would incorporate and suit all genres of music because it wouldn’t be for on set genre. When creating a magazine that caters for more that one genre or topic, the colour scheme should fit with them so by choosing an autumn colour scheme, it caters for all genres because it is not aimed at one genre.
