Colton Millis was selected as a 2018 IAM Scholarship Award Winner. In addition to the scholarship Colton received the Roman Mayfield Scholarship Award. This scholarship award represents both his excellent aca- demic achievements and the spirit of volunteerism and his strong sense of service to his community. The Ro- man Mayfield Scholarship is the highest scholarship awarded by the IAM Scholarship Selection Committee His academic achievements comes from his mother Renee”, said his father Frank. Mrs. Millis is a teacher whom home schooled her children for most of their school years. Colton is the son of Frank and Renee Millis. Brother Millis is a Roadway Mechanic and proud member of Lo- cal Lodge 696. Colton was selected from 225 applicants from the United States and Canada. Colton will receive $1000.00 a year towards his bachelor degree. Colton will be attending Old Dominion University where he will be major- ing in Mechanical Engineering. Coltons award was made possible by voluntary contributions to the Scholarship Fund from Local and District IAM Lodges.
