Welcome to the Community Support Services Training brochure 2019-2020. Thank you for taking time to look through our brochure. The trainers in our team have developed some new and improved courses for this year. If there is anything that you feel is missing, please feel free to get in contact as we may be able to signpost you to an appropriate training session, or add it to our brochure of training. Please don’t forget for those of you who are completing Diploma’s that the courses are delivered with this in mind, so you may be able to use this as evidence to aid completion of your Diploma. For colleagues in the Private, Voluntary, Independent Sector and some departments of CCC (external to CSS) there will be charges of £55.00 per half day/evening and £85.00 per full day attendance at all training courses advertised in this brochure (except PROACT-SCIPr-UK® this is priced as per course details). Payment is required upon booking on the course, prior to attendance; if this is not received an invoice will be sent to the email address of the attendee once the course has been completed. Certificates for the courses attended will not be sent until the course has been paid for in full.

Support Worker Induction Plan

Inducting new Support Workers in a way that ensures they are fully prepared for working with a range of children

and young people can be difficult.

We also recognise that the Care Certificate does not always meet the needs of the Children’s Workforce and we

have therefore worked hard as a team to ensure that our Induction Programme does meet those worker’s needs.

With a plan covering the first 6 months of employment which allows new and experienced staff alike to make

progress and develop in your organisation, and within a supportive framework, the Induction moves with the

development of your Support Workers, at their pace and in line with your time scales for induction.

Working like this is proven to have been a success with our Support Workers and we have seen some really

amazing people develop and grow!

We are pleased to offer the purchase of this thorough and comprehensive Induction Plan along with access to

our eLearning System at £50 per Support Worker.

This includes: A total of 14 eLearning courses to access, a 24 page Induction Plan, various additional resources

and a list of further Mandatory Courses for workers to use to promote their own personal development. This will

ensure that you are employing and developing staff with excellent core values and skills to support some of the

most wonderful children and young people they may ever meet!

Please contact us for further information or an informal chat to find out more.
