Mom 2 Mom is a ministry to moms following the Titus 2:4-5 model of, “older women teaching the younger women… to love their husbands and children…” We desire to develop a safe atmosphere of encouragement, support, instruction, accountability, fellowship and friendship. Here are what a few mom’s who have attended have to say:
“Mom 2 Mom has given me the opportunity to grow my faith, increase my confidence in parenting, and learn how to bring God into my home. It is a support group that has been irreplaceable as I navigate through motherhood.”
“I’ve been attending Mom 2 Mom since its start. It has been a huge blessing to grow with this group and meet other moms. It’s awesome having a support group of ladies at varying stages of parenthood to learn with.”
“Mom 2 Mom was a lifesaver for me. It really helped me to become a better parent and wife….”
This year we are studying, “The Excellent Wife” by Martha Peace. Martha Peace is a Biblical counselor of women who is gifted at explaining “what God requires of a Christian wife …but also how to obey God’s commandments in order to become that wife.” Throughout the year we have some guest speakers, workshops, crafts, and special activities. Each week will include a time of prayer, discussion, fellowship and light refreshment. Quality childcare will be provided. Missionary of the Month
Child Evangelism Ministries has faced challenging situations and witnessed great victories during summer and throughout fall. Happy Day Clubs have regained ground by recovering 2 clubs that weren’t staffed in recent years, increasing our number to 22 after school Bible clubs! Our theme this year carries our upcoming banquet banner as well: “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”. God has faithfully called
more volunteers for clubs needing teachers and helpers, but there is always room for more. Are you ready for the most exciting ministry ever? Picture yourselves walking into a public school with Bibles in hand ready to hold forth the Word of Life to hungry hearts! Imagine being trained and equipped with interactive Bible lessons, songs with meaning and motions and teaching Bible
memory verses with games and song. Above all, what a privilege it is to lead a child to the Hope of this world: Jesus Christ! Please keep CEM in your fervent prayers for 2 of our summer missionaries who are facing life and death situations. Russell Cook, 19, was
hospitalized with acute leukemia shortly after our summer ministry ended. He remains hospitalized and needs donors for platelets and blood. He is being prepared to go to Riley in November for a hopeful bone marrow transplant. One of our young ladies was involved in
a serious accident and has been traumatized over the injuries the other person received due to the accident. Please pray for our ministry, workers, volunteers, and potential supporters as God proves His faithfulness and provision the evening of November
15th when guest speaker, Gracia Burnham, shares how great is His faithfulness throughout her capture, release, and beyond! We continue to thank our Lord God for His faithfulness through the prayers and support of believers at McCoy Memorial Baptist Church.
