About us

• Established in 2005, The Recruiters’ experience, culture and ability to offer Candidate Video Profiles, has taken the company to a leadership position in the video based recruitment segment of the market.

• We are pleased to have been awarded preferred supplier status and to have done business with a growing list of corporate clients which includes: Old Mutual, Sasol, Sappi, Coronation Asset Management, Metropolitan, Stanlib, SAB, Alpha Asset management, Singita Hotel Group, Discovery Health and Acsis to name a few. 

• We specialize in Finance, Financial Services & HR roles and have subsequently gained extensive experience recruiting positions in these areas.

Our service adds extra value and dimension by including a 20 second video profile introduction of each candidate along with a summary report, interviewer comments and their own CV. All profiled candidates are reference checked - references are available upon request.

Our concept has been proven to radically streamline the recruitment process for both jobseekers and clients, saving time, money and energy for all parties.

Our monthly Hotlist e-mails are dynamic in that they’re constantly updated on our website and clients are able to screen profiles, watch video intros, spot new talent and identify company “culture fit” from anywhere in the world as they’re interviewed and added to a category.

For specific Jobspecs, we provide secure Username and Password access to shortlisted candidates applying for the vacancy.

Leading international HR consultant Dr John Sullivan. 02 July 2009Video interviews will have the biggest impact on recruitment: Sullivan Forget social networking and blogging, video interviewing will have the biggest impact on recruitment of any new technology, argues leading international HR consultant Dr John Sullivan.

He says the move to video interviewing is finally becoming widespread in the US and Europe and is starting to be seen as a necessity rather than a "nice to have" by leading employers. Not only is video interviewing a major cost saver, says Sullivan, it speeds up time to fill vacancies, reduces interview drop out rates and vastly improves the candidate experience. In addition, the "interview from anywhere" concept opens the possibility that recruitment companies and employers could outsource the entire shortlisting process to lower-cost offshore locations. "Unlike telephone interviews, facial expressions and body language can be readily seen, something that hiring managers rate as a “must-have” feature," he says. Sullivan says hundreds of major employers including HP, Google, Rio Tinto, E*Trade, Whirlpool and Pepsico are now using video interviewing, and usage patterns are climbing at a significant pace. “… within a few years the 'interview from anywhere' approach will become the standard practice for all but final hiring interviews," Sullivan says in a recent article. Besides being cheaper, faster and more efficient, Sullivan argues that video interviewing broadens the potential candidate pool by making it possible to easily interview candidates from outside a company's local area.
