Established in 2009 Desti Saint Pte Limited is the brainchild of Director and founder, Desti Saint.
With a background in finance, Desti Saint moved into fashion accessories in 2000 and after nearly ten years in the industry was inspired to form her own label.
Born in Hong Kong, Desti has lived most of her life in Asia and for the past ten years has called Singapore home. A deep empathy for Asia, its people and culture has been the driving force behind her desire to create uniquely beautiful, high quality leather bags and accessories.
Specialising in luxury handbags her company has expanded to include markets in South East Asia, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
Passionate and enormously enthusiastic, Desti Saint designs on her feet and enjoys an action centric attitude towards the creative process. Her ideas partner with exceptional technical competency,
which guarantees the quality of her products.
Her determination to source the best materials and accessorise them with an Asian twist, make her designs a
delightfully refreshing fusion of East meets West.

THE CHIC BAG LADYIt was love at fi rst clutch when IRA HIDAYAH spied Desti Saint’s bags. She chats to the self-taught designer about arm candy and her latest lust-have jewellery.

HUES OF DELIGHTArt takes shape in the form of every woman’s handy accessory – the ubiquitous handbag. And for Desti, her tote bags are a re ection of her outlook in life – love, joy and peace. Born in Hong Kong to New Zealand expat parents, she considers Asia her muse and fondly recalls her childhood.
“It was fantastic growing up in Hong Kong and I remember how everything was so colourful when I walked along the streets.”
Her designs exude a contemporary Asian style. In her latest range aptly titled the “Happiness Collection” or “Maddie Collection” was based on the ingot on her friend’s necklace – the Chinese symbol of double happiness and inspired by her daughter Maddie, 12.
“Being born in Hong Kong and moving to Singapore three years ago, I consider my friends as family and losing my best friend a few years ago made everything less inane.”
Desti is a charming lady who knows how to have a good laugh. Throughout the photoshoot, she was a great sport, joking with the photographer that it is gentlemanly for men to carry their partner’s handbags... but just for a short while, of course.
Just eyeing her threads made me smile. The new line incorporates the smallest details such as an ingot zipper, hand-carved jade to funky tassels. It took her six months to design the entire range. All the pieces
