DEWATERING & GROUND WATER SERVICES

SEISMIC SURVEYING
Mechanical disturbance in the water column generates compression acoustic waves. The signature of the acoustic signal depends on the type of acoustic source. When the acoustic energy is incident on the seabed, it is either totally reflected or partially reflected and transmitted through the sub-seabed depending on the nature of the signal and transmitting medium.
The acoustic impedance results in partial reflection of the acoustic energy. The acoustic impedance is a function of physical characteristics of the sediment. Any change in the physical nature will influence the acoustic transmission and reflection through the sediments. The reflected signals are received by the pressure sensitive transceivers connected to the recording/ processing system. During processing, the raw signals are filtered and amplified to enhance the signal to noise ratio. A sub-bottom profiling system consists of a sound source which generates a sound pulse at a controlled rate directed towards the seabed by discharging energy stored in a bank of capacitors; a highly sensitive hydrophone, or series of transducers, which pick up the echoes of the sound pulses reflected from the seabed and its underlying layers; a signal receiver section which processes the incoming hydrophone signal through band pass filter, gain control, varied gain control and swell filter, and a high speed graphic recorder capable of converting the signal amplitude levels and print them as grey levels. The sound pulse reflected off the sub-bottom layers when printed in the above manner produces a continuous image of the interfaces between the layers. The different signal signatures generated by various types of geological strata give an indication of the type of material, constituting them in many cases.
TOPOGRAPHY
The RTK GPS502 will be used for establishing a calibration station, correlating benchmarks, and undertaking any required topographic survey in an open area. The RTK system can be operated in either dynamic mode, fixing every second or at a user specified time interval or distance, for topographic survey. Alternatively the system can be used in fast static mode, for detail surveys, occupation times are in the order of a few seconds, or in static mode, geodetic baselines can be observed yielding accuracies of + 5mm + 1ppm. The system is either deployed by pedestrian in a backpack, with the GPS antenna on a plumbing pole, or is mounted on our eight wheel drive tracked amphibious
All Terrain Vehicles (ATV). In less rugged terrain the unit is mounted on a conventional four wheel drive vehicle.
Detail surveys to locate man made features carried out by ‘stop and go’ pedestrian operations and by total station observations.
Total Station will be employed to survey any areas where satellite coverage is restricted due to obstructions. The equipment will consist of a Leica Total Station and Electronic Notebook observations being recorded on the memory card.

We support many different welding processes including; SMAW (typically E70XX,
E80XX, or E90XX), FCAW (E71-T8), and FCAW-G (E71-T1). Each process is
available both at our shop and as a part of our mobile service. All of our welders
are certified and have currently never failed non destructive testing (UT) for full
penetration welds. Fillet, full and partial penetration, flares bevel, bevel groove,
slot, plug, and any other pre-qualified joint are absolutely no problem for our
welders.
We are also able to provide welding for purposes other than structural steel for

MATERIAL HANDLING AND DELIVERY
Our 25 ton crane easily handles most of our installation needs, as well as
decreases installation costs to our end clients as crane costs are included in our
bid. We have a main boom reach over the rear of 80' @ 3,200 lbs., and 109' at
1,200 lbs with the jib secured. Our crane and a licensed operator are also
available for rent to serve the United Arab Emarat.
We offer our own trucks for delivery service as well. Some items may require the
use of either a crane, or forklift to be unloaded safely. Please CONTACT US for

Fabrication and Installation
Our current specialty is to supply the needs of super custom homes with
structural steel to include: Wide flange (I-beams), Tube Steel, Hollowed
Structural Steel, Pipe, Flat Stock, Plate Stock, T Sections, L-iron, Robinson
decking, Nelson Studs, and weld able rebar. We are currently able to produce
between 7,000 and 20,000 lbs. of finished structural steel a week to
accommodate our customer's needs, depending on the intensity of fabrication to
each piece.
We have fabricated and installed projects as large as a 21,000 sq. ft. residence
with 240,000 lbs. of steel, but also enjoy smaller projects as well. We are fully
capable to provide structural steel for both new and remodel construction.
Our drafting department, headed by Mr. P Yadav, has been very successful to find
and work with engineers, architects, and other trades to alleviate problems
before we fabricate and erect our steel components.
We also offer fabrication of custom brackets for wood and concrete attachments
in accordance to provided detailed drawings of what is required. If other

Hydro-Demolition is a technology that uses extremely high pressure water jets that are capable of removing concrete while not damaging the rebar. The practical application of this technique makes it an extremely effective and efficient method of concrete removal. This
is due to two main factors, one being the direct impact of the water jet on the surface. The other is the porous nature of concrete, the high pressure water is
forced into the tiny cavities and cracks within the concrete mass, causing it to fracture and split.
Selective Material Removal
The variable parameters of the technique, water pressure, jet size and speed of application, make it possible to demolish and remove concrete in a very precise and controlled way. These variables enable selective removal of deteriorated or de-laminated concrete, as the jet stream penetrates the cracks and faults in the degraded material more quickly, leaving the sound concrete intact.
Accurate Material Removal
The equipment can also be set to remove concrete to predetermined depths. These capabilities make it a very suitable method of enabling repairs to concrete structures, as it allows accurate removal of material, leaving the sub-structure and
steel reinforcement intact if required.

1. GENERAL: This procedure defines the quality control required for bored piles, quality control of other activities – if any – will be submitting separately.

3. FIELD QUALITY CONTROL AND INSPECTION PLANS: 3.1 PURPOSE
The purpose of the piling field quality control and inspection plan is to describe how the required quality shall be maintained throughout the execution of the piling works in order to comply with project requirements. The different stages of the works are submitted for inspection before they may be hidden by the next stage.
3.2 RESPONSIBILITIES The project quality plan is a controlled document; its issue shall be supervised and recorded by the quality control department (refer to organizational description). In addition, totally we are bearing all responsibilities on site for all damages resulting on site or with other parties.
3.3 DOCUMENT CONTROL For document control and document numbering, we will follow the document control system that will be agreed with the quality control department.
4. INSPECTION DURING PILES EXECUTION:
4.1 PILE POSITION Pile position will be determined and checked prior to drilling works commencement by client staff members.
4.2 INSPECTION DURING INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARY CASING The temporary casing geometric characteristics (diameter, length and alignment) will be checked prior to installation, inspection for inner surface to ensure it cleanness and smooth. The centering of the temporary casing will be controlled by means of the two reference pegs to ensure that the center of the temporary casing will be checked before starting its penetration by means of spirit level.
The correct vertical position of the temporary casing during installation will be controlled by means of spirit level along the outside surface of the casing 90-degrees direction. Top level of the casing will be checked by client and then recorded in pile record sheet.
4.3 INSPECTION DURING SETTING OUT OF DRILLING MACHINE The centering of the drilling machine will be ensured by adjusting the drilling tool (bucket or auger) within the center of the temporary casing. The verticality of the Kelly bar will be check by means of long spirit level along two perpendicular directors.
4.4 INSPECTION DURING PILE DRILLING The geometric dimensions of the excavation tools will be checked prior to pile drilling. The centered of the excavation tool into the temporary casing will be done by visual survey. A regular measuring of the drilling depth will be performed by a depth measuring tape. The measuring of the final depth reached will be record in the pile report form and will be submitted to consultant for approval. Cleaning of the bottom of the pile will be controlled by inspection the material collected by means of a cleaning bucket lowered to the bottom of the pile. Once the tip level of the pile is reached the hole will be re-measured again using a measuring tape. Encountering hard layers, suitable tools will be available to overcome it.
4.5 REINFORCING CAGE INSPECTION Just after the completion of fabrication of any cage section, the following items will be checked; all in accordance with the specification;
a.) Geometrical dimension of all cage section. b.) Number of longitudinal bards arranged in equal distances. c.) Number of lateral reinforcing and their spacing. d.) Number and distribution of spacers.
4.6 CONCRETING INSPECTION
The length of the tremie pipe, in function of the depth of the pipe to be concreting will be checked, after installation of the tremie pipe, the position of the loading funnel will be checked to ensure the tip of the tremie pipe is at the correct depth prior to pouring (300mm above the tip of the hole). The required quantity of the concrete to be poured will be verified before start of the operation. The concrete characteristic will be controlled by performing a slump test of each concrete truck by using an “Abrams Cone”. Record of the control will be reported on the pile record sheet. The tremie pipe position during casting operation will be controlled in order to keep the bottom of the pipe at least 2.00m below the level of the rising concrete.
5. TEST AFTER PILE EXECUTION:
5.1 CONCRETE CRUSHING STRENGTH TESTS Will be checked and approved by the consultant. 5.2 PILE INTEGRITY TEST
The pile integrity test will be conducted according to ASTM D 5882-00 on all piles by an independent firm. The pile will be trimmed and cleaned to allow for conducting the integrity test.
6. FREQUENCY:
6.1 FREQUENCY OF CONTROL
The frequency of the control and inspection will be according to the above mentioned items.
7. TOLERANCE: The work will be done according to the project specifications and generally as follows;
- Out of position at working platform : 75mm - Verticality or pile inclination : 1% over the pile length
8. ACTIONS FOR CASE OF NON-CONFORMITY: Action in case of non-conformity, a report will be issued presenting the following; pile number, pile drilled date, pile pouring date, length of the pile and non-conformity problem. This report to be submitted to the consultant.
9. CORRECTIVE ACTION REPORT AND METHOD OF CORRECTIVE ACTION: For short pile starter bar the corrective action shall include the following remedy works;
1. Drill a hole with diameter equal approximate (25-35) mm and depth of equal 40cm. 2. Clean the hole with air compressor to be cleaned and free of dust. 3. Cast the hole with suitable epoxy material following all the instructions for the use in its
technical sheet. 4. Insert the required bars along the perimeter with the required length. Subject to the
consultant approval on method and materials used. For piles centered shift at the top more than the specified values or out of plump for the pile length, the suitable will be describe in non-conformity report and to be studied by the designer to state the type of corrective action.
10. PILE REPORT: A job report will be prepared for evert single pile. The report will contain the pile identification such as;

All report will be signed and submitted for approval.
