Para negar, not siempre va después del verbo to be,

He is not (isn´t) a doctor

He is not ( isn´t) writing a letter

y en el presente simple después del auxiliar do o does pero después de does el verbo regresa a su forma simple

You do not (don´t) walk everyday

He does not (doesn´t) cook the dinner

Is he your father?

Are they students?

Do you run every day?

Does she go to school by car?
