Permanent Recruitment Process

At Concilium Search we understand the importance of working with a search agency who understands your business and is motivated by providing you with the very best candidates in

your most crucial roles. We conduct a thorough 5 stage process when qualifying and presenting candidates to our clients, a process which is tailored and bespoke to each of our clients.

1. The Briefing

Understanding the client brief is the first and arguably the most important step in any recruitment process. This will involve an on-site visit and briefing with the HR team & Line Manager to fully qualify the

role and get into the detail of the position and the requirements a candidate must have to add value and be successful in the role. For us the cultural fit is consistently one of the most important factors, therefore in

order to successfully source the correct candidate we must understand in full the company culture and team dynamic prior to speaking with any candidates for a prospective role.

2. Research Team Engagement

At this stage our internal search process is implemented. Each assignment from our clients will have a dedicated team of 3-5 researchers attached to the search. This team will be briefed by the Client Director and

produce a long-list of candidates between 75-150 profiles dependant on the niche skill required.

Our Researchers are trained to conduct a robust and exhaustive search for candidates based on the criteria established by the client and using all the latest technologies. During this process our researchers will speak briefly with each candidate to ensure they have the necessary pre-requisite skills to progress in the process. Once the long-list has been developed they will provide a short-list of 10-30 profiles to progress to the next

stage.

3. Consultant Interview

Our Consultants conduct an in-depth interview with the candidates. They aim to ascertain the candidates past career history, aspirations for the future, interest in the position, motivations to move companies as

well as the softer factors, including personality and personal situation. They will narrow and refine the list accordingly, and provide a Senior Consultant with a shortlist of no more than 10 individuals.

4. Senior Consultant Interview

The final stage of the process involves a Skype or face to face meeting between the candidate and Senior Consultant. During this stage we aim to find out more about the individual and any factors that may

influence their career progression in any way. We discuss their experience in more detail, manage their expectations and understand the multitude of variables which can hold influence for a candidate throughout

the interview process.

5. Shortlist Presentation

At this stage in the process a shortlist of 5-7 profiles will be selected to submit to the client. Typically, our shortlist presentations are in person, in order to offer the most robust and well-rounded view of each

candidate for the client’s review.
