Memorandum of AgreementKey Features
• Wildlife covered include big game, furbearers and upland game birds
• All harvest will be reported to the Department
• Hunt Area primarily includes federal public landsthroughout the ceded lands described in the 1855 treaty
• Off-reservation hunting within the described Hunt Area does not include private lands
• Hunting on state wildlife areas is authorized during times when there is a sport season authorizing hunting of the same species
• Tribal members will carry tribal identification and tribally-authorized hunting tag and
• Use of wildlife for commercial purposes is prohibited
