Welcome

Dear conference participants,

it is a great pleasure for me to welcome you on behalf of the Scientific

Committee at the 3rd V4 Conference on Public Health in Prague. The

conference takes place four years after the great success of the 1st V4

Conference on Public Health that was held in Košice, Slovakia, in 2013, and

two years after 2nd V4 Conference on Public Health in Zabrze, Poland, in

2015.

I believe that you will use the conference for sharing and discussing your ideas

and experiences, presenting your research as well as simply extending your

personal cooperation networks. Most of the participants come from the so-

called V4 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland), so it is

assumed that experiences can be transferred from one country to another

because we face quite similar problems.

I would like to express my personal thanks to all members of the Scientific and

Organising Committees for their work in preparation of the conference.

Enjoy your time in the city of Prague.
