WELCOME
Matt AllenACPS National Chairman
On behalf of the 2018 Local Organising Committee (LOC), I welcome you to the 17th ACPS Biennial Conference in Brisbane.
A key focus of “Same Resource, Different World” is optimising the utilisation of our coal resource and operations. Within our businesses, we are striving to improve availability, reliability and metallurgical performance of our assets while reducing costs and maximising value. The Technical Sessions, Poster Paper Sessions and Exhibition provide a great platform for delegates to identify synergies, realise opportunities and discover learnings that are transferable to other operations.
I encourage you to actively participate in the technical, social and networking programmes. Please take time to speak with Exhibitors and Sponsors and thank LOC members and Presenters for their contribution in making this another memorable event for ACPS members.
