Confession Schedule Change Beginning Tuesday, June 5th,

confessions will be heard from 5:00pm—

5:30pm, before the 6:00pm Mass.

Parish Office Summer Hours The parish office will have Summer

hours beginning May 30, 2018 through

August 8, 2018. The hours will be:

Monday 8:00am—4:00pm; Tuesday—

Friday 8:00am—1:00pm.

School Summer Hours The school office will be open May

31st—June 8th from 8:00am—1:00pm.

From June 12th—July 25th the office will

be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

from 8:00am—12:00pm.

Natural Family Planning A Natural Family Planning Class will be

held on Sunday, June 3rd, from 9:00am

to 12:15pm in the Deanery Resource

Center at St. Louis. There is a $40.00

fee for books and materials. For

reservations call or text Aly at 812-212-

4951 or Mike at 812-212-2719.

Baptism Preparation Class The Baptism preparation class is for

parents who are having their first child

Baptized. The next class will be offered

on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:00pm in the

Deanery Resource Center at St. Louis.

Adoration Chapel The open hours for the

Adoration Chapel are:

Sunday – 8:00am, 9:00am,

5:00pm; Monday –

3:00am; Thursday—

11:00am; Friday – 1:00pm

If you are able to sub for

one of these open hours,

please sign up outside the Adoration

Chapel. If you are able to fill an open

hour, call Christy

Memorial Day Mass There will be Mass on Memorial Day, May 28th at 9:00am. On this

day we remember the courageous men and women who gave their

lives in faithful service to our country.

Memorial Day Service The VFW and American Legion will be visiting St. Louis Cemetery at 10:00am on

Memorial Day, May 28th, followed by the presentation at Liberty Park at

11:00am.

St. Louis Parish Directory Time slots are still available for anyone wanting to

sign up for pictures for the church directory. Just go

on line to ucdir.com. Log in is: in1470 and password

is: smile1. Anyone that has not signed up will be getting a call from Universal Church Directory

to provide assistance helping you sign up for pictures, if you are interested.

If you are unable to get your picture taken and would like to be included in the

church directory, please drop off a photo to the parish office.

Fr. Stan 20th Anniversary Mass Wednesday, June 6th is the 20th anniversary of Fr. Stan’s

ordination to the priesthood. He will celebrate a Mass of

Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 3rd at 11:00am. There will be a

reception following Mass.

You can show your appreciation and support for Fr. Stan by sending him a card to

honor this milestone. Cards can be sent any time to Fr. Stanley Pondo, 13 St. Louis

Place, Batesville, Indiana 47006. Spiritual bouquet cards are also available in the

Chapel.

St. Louis Cemetery Prayer Garden Blessing Would you like to spend time in prayer in the cemetery? Have you, or someone you

know, lost a child, grandchild, family member, or loved one? There is now a

beautiful prayer garden on the West side of the cemetery, near the infant section.

Fr. Stan will bless this area on Saturday, June 9th at 10:30am. All are welcome.

Father’s Day Memorial In your packet of church envelopes is an envelope for

donations in honor of and in memory of Fathers. The Fathers

being memorialized will be listed in the Father’s Day bulletin.

All names to be included in the Father’s Day bulletin must be

turned in to the parish office by Friday, June 8th.

St. Louis School Rummage Sale Donations accepted: Sun., June 3rd from 9:00am - 4:00pm

and Mon. - Wed., June 4th - 6th from 8:00am - 8:00pm.

Sorting: Sun., June 3rd from 9:00am - 4:00pm, Mon. -

Wed., June 4th - 6th from 8:00am - 8:00pm, and Thurs.,

June 7th from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Sale: Fri., June 8th from 8:00am - 6:00pm,

Sat., June 9th from 8:00am - 4:00pm (half price at noon), and Sun., June 10th

from 8:00am -1:00pm ($2 a provided Kroger bag). Cashiers are needed.

Clean up: Sun., June 10th from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Many people are needed, in-

Bushels of Baskets Please keep the Basket Booth in mind. We are accepting donations of baskets

and items to put into baskets.

Jars for Turtle Soup Clean quart, half gallon and gallon jars may be dropped off on the front porch of

the parish office. Jars that are not true quart, half gallon or gallon sizes cannot be

used for turtle soup. Please help by removing the labels and glue from the outside

of the jars.

Hey College Students! We are going “bar hopping” this Summer, and all college-age young

adults are welcome! We will be going to an ice cream bar, pizza

bar, and breakfast bar throughout the summer. We will have some

good, clean fun...no alcohol needed!

Join us for an Ice Cream Bar and dinner on June 4th, 6:00pm at

the Gerstbauers’ house. If you have questions call Rachel 812-212

-9722 or Caleb 765-698-8582. Sponsored by St. Louis Church.

Parish Picnic - Save the Date! Our St. Louis Parish picnic will be Sunday, July 22nd at Liberty Park. The

celebration will begin with 11:00am Mass in the park. Fun, games and fellowship

for all ages! More details coming soon.

Batesville Deanery Anointing Mass The Annual Daughters of Isabella Mass of Anointing will be held

Tuesday, June 5th at the Batesville Knights of Columbus

Hall. Doors open at 10:00am with Mass at 11:00am. Lunch will

be served immediately after Mass at a cost of $11.00 per person.

Reservations must be called in to Judy Luhring at 812-934-4547

by May 31st. Please leave message on answering machine with

names of those attending.
