Indisputably, students do better socially, emotionally, and academically when families, schools, and communities work together. The family engagement conference will bring together professionals who work at the intersection of student and family to examine social justice issues and principles of equity. Participants will learn about the Dual Capacity Building Framework for Family-School Partnerships, a national model from the U.S. Department of Education, and have the opportunity to attend workshops that focus on school and family partnerships.
