THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT DO IN PRAGUE
1. We recommend that you do not stop a taxi directly in the streets. Unfortunately, Prague is famous for charging tourists 3 – 4x more than the standard fare. Use instead one of the taxi operators recommended above.
2. You should only exchange your money in the exchange office our staff recommends or a bank. The exchange rates in many of the small shops around town and especially in the centre are extremely poor. Exchange rate for 1 EURO should be around 25-26 Czech Crowns and for 1 USD should be around 21-22 Czech Crowns.
3. Do not bring your passport with you to school every day. If you possess both you might consider carrying your ID card, or a photocopy for some peace of mind.
THINGS YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU TO PRAGUE
1. Make sure you bring your laptop!!! 2. Prepare your English CV in PDF. 3. Bring some semi-formal and formal clothes for our formal events as well as for your internship. 4. We recommend that you bring 1.000,- EURO in cash to pay for your accommodation (if applicable)
and other local expenses. 5. Bring your own bottle - because we are an Eco-friendly company, please bring your own water bottle
or buy it the first day.

The process of selection of internships for architecture program On Friday of the second week of lectures (19.7.), each student will take a written multiple-choice test with questions covering the previous lectures.

At the end of the day (afternoon), the students choose their internships separately and on a first-ranked first-served basis. Whoever received the highest score will be choosing the internship company first, the second one will choose second, etc. In case of tie the motivational letter as described below will decide who choses which company.
Further to the test there are a few other aspects which will influence your internship placement.

Other tips for your stay in Prague: In the restaurants, pubs and cafes it is considered a common courtesy to leave a tip for service. It’s customary to round the bill up or add 10%, but you can usually tip between 5% to 15 %. Some of the places may not be equipped to accept gratuities via credit cards. Instead, hand a cash tip. There is no need to tip taxi drivers.
