Nielsen Chemicals is a manufacturer of specialist cleaning products for the Automotive Industry; our brand portfolio o�ers a complete range of cleaning, valeting, maintenance and infection control products.
We manufacture all of our own products on our 11 acre purpose-built site. Our products are developed in our on-site Automotive Specialist Development and Compliance lab, then tested in our Training Academy. We develop and design market-leading products in line with current legislation, to ensure they meet the demands of the Automotive market.
Nielsen products are sold both in the UK and Worldwide through a trusted base of distributors and we are committed to ensuring product quality and high levels of customer service for each and every one of our customers and distributors.
Our own goal is clear from our professional range, right down to our retail products that will out perform market-leading products but at a�ordable prices.

Nielsen’s 50th BirthdayEstablished in 1969, Nielsen Chemicals are getting ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Nielsen products all still carry the distinctive Viking emblem, which was derived from Borg Nielsen, a Dane who founded the company in the UK in 1969. These days Nielsen is a wholly owned British company with the Head O�ce and manufacturing site based in the heart of the National Forest in Derbyshire.

Training Academy and CoursesWe have a dedicated training academy based in our Head O�ce in the UK. Designed to support our distributors and customers with product demonstrations and product knowledge, in a practical environment where products can be tested and showcased. The Training Academy o�ers all the equipment needed for cleaning, valeting, detailing and paint recti�cation, including:
• Low and high pressure water cleaning facilities.• A complete range of automatic dilution equipment.• Wet and dry extraction machines.• Machine and manual polishing equipment.• High and low level lighting speci�cally designed for technical detailing.

As an organisation we comply with all European legislation to ensure the protection of both human health and the environment are ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 compliant. As a part of our on-going commitment to Health & Safety, we provide safety data sheets for each product in our range.

our environmental impact. • Fully Comply with all applicable EU Regulations to ensure that our products are safe for people and the environment.
Manufacturing, Logistics and Site• We are rigorous in ensuring that we minimise raw material and �nished product waste.• We are registered and monitored to IPPC/EPR by the UK Environment Agency. • Water usage is measured and monitored, together with electricity and fuel oil, both of which has seen reductions of 40 %+
in use per unit of manufacture.
Our Employees• All employees are active in ensuring that all waste paper and cardboard are recycled.• All employees, regardless of department, are tasked to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.

Nielsen RacingFounded in 2014 in Corby, Nielsen Racing is the culmination of over 12 years of experience in the motorsport industry from their dedicated team of motorsport specialists. With a long history of success in the Radical, SR1, SR3 and SR8 series across Europe and the UK and since 2017, Nielsen Racing has been competing in the Henderson LMP3 Cup with the Ligier JS P3.
Nielsen Racing also boast a number of services outside of their competition participation; car rentals are available for racing, track days and testing. The team also undertake race car preparation, damage repair and chassis set up to the highest level at their workshop - all whilst o�ering Coaching and Driver Development Training. We are aware of the importance of brand awareness and have an in-house team dedicated to the promotion of our brand. We have recently launched a new website for both our Professional and Retail products, and attend a number of exhibitions throughout the UK and Europe such as the Automechanika - the leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket and vehicle production sector, and the Emergency Services Show - The UKs leading annual showcase of the blue light sector. From sponsorship of the Nielsen Racing Team, to publications such as American Car and MOG, we support our brand across all sectors of the automotive industry with the full marketing mix.
Merchandise and StationeryWe understand the need for promotional material and the overall brand image, so we’ve teamed up with a local printing company that can o�er a range of merchandise and stationery all set-up and ready for print; from business cards to vinyl banners. The CoursesNielsen have devised a series of training courses, designed to provide new and experienced distributors, customers and valeters, with the skills to work on vehicles to a professional standard.
The courses provide an overview of how to valet, clean and conduct paintwork restoration to the highest possible standards and professionalism. The courses involve hands-on training in the full Nielsen product range and equipment such as, usage techniques, application methods, dilutions and surface compatibility.
The courses are conducted at the Nielsen Training Academy based at our Head O�ce in Derbyshire. Upon completion, participants will receive certi�cation to con�rm and substantiate the individual’s level of expertise.
Safety Data Sheets and Product LabellingAs a part of our on-going commitment to health and safety, we provide safety data sheets for each product in our range. All labels and product materials display essential warnings and symbols, the Globally Harmonized System, Classi�cation and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Point of SaleTo support our distributors and stockists with the Nielsen Retail Range we o�er Point of Sale materials to help you to promote the brand such as; Counter Displays, Window Stickers and Floor Displays.
UniformNielsen o�ers a full range of uniform available to purchase, from t-shirts and jackets to ties and hats - also supplied by Othello 4 Martin James.
