Point!on!"ave controed s"itching consists of issuing s"itching commands to the brea'er at the optima votage!phase!ange. (he purpose of this technica note is to iustrate the function and features of RPH3 controed s"itching reay. 2# RPH3 % controlled switcin! se&$ence 'nd en"iron(ent (he RPH3 controer continuousy monitors a variety of information from its mechanica and eectrica environment and stores in its integrated memory. )pon receipt of a command to open or cose the brea'er* the reay processes the command based on this stored information and issues the s"itching command at the optima moment. +fter every s"itching operation* RPH3 stores the s"itching parameters and communicates the resuts of controed s"itching operation through its communication ports.
