What is a Digipak?• A digipak is a patented style of optical disc packaging for CD’s and DVD’s, typically made from cardboard with an internal plastic holder for one or more discs.• They are often used for special editions of artists albums• Digipak’s consist of a gatefold outer binding, with one or

more plastic trays which are capable of holding the CD/DVD

Front of a Digipak• The front of a digipak usually grabs the consumers attention by

having a large picture or a bold design usually linking to the artist/band

• The name of the album is usually on the front as well as the name of the artist/band

• My example is Rihanna’s ‘Talk ThatTalk’, she has a picture of herself, the title of the album placed at thebottom and also her logo in the topleft corner.
